A Dy-No-Mite Guest Star Promises to Blow Up Bold & Beautiful

The Bold and the Beautiful hit a true milestone on Wednesday, April 18, airing it’s 9,000th, Steffy-centric episode. It was a big deal for fans and for the show as well, and naturally, with that many episodes under its belt, the CBS sudser also had a surprise or two up its sleeve. One of those surprises was that Jimmie Walker was on-hand during the cast and crew’s on-set celebration. And it wasn’t just a visit — he’s filming episodes for the show!

For those who are thinking, “Boy, that name certainly sounds familiar” but can’t quite place from where, we’ll offer just one phrase: Dy-No-Mite!
Yup, if you didn’t recall before, you probably guessed it now. Walker played James and Florida’s eldest son, J.J., on CBS’ wildly popular ’70s sitcom, Good Times!

Soaps.com doesn’t have details on what role he’ll be taking on, but we have learned that Walker will be guest starring on May 3rd and 4th. There’s also no word if we’ll get to hear his world-famous catchphrase while he’s on the show, but since Bold & Beautiful takes place in Los Angeles, there’s always the possibility that Walker will play a version of himself!
Also on-hand for the episode’s celebration with Walker was Joshua Hoffman who, of course, is playing a grown-up R.J. His first air-date is coming up very fast. In fact, it’ll be on Friday, April 21! Whether he’ll have anything to do with Walker’s character is another matter, but they are both appearing fairly close together, so anything is possible!
Stay tuned for more details as we get them!
