Bold & Beautiful’s Making Us Dizzy as a Key Character Is Re-Recast — or Would That Just Be Un-Recast?
Next week, The Bold and the Beautiful viewers are going to see daytime’s revolving door swing open — and shut — once again. Back in June, we reported that Remington Evans had stepped in as Liam and Steffy’s daughter Kelly for Sophia Paras McKinlay and now the latter will be back on our screens.
Soap Opera Digest is reporting that McKinlay is already in the studios taping scenes and, after a temporary absence, will first appear on Wednesday, August 24. The little actress was last seen in June with Evans last in the role on Friday, August 5.
And what better time for McKinlay to resume her place on the CBS soap… Her stepfather Finn is alive and back with their family, which in turn has made Kelly and Hayes’ mom whole — and happy — again. Let’s just hope the little ones don’t hear Steffy talking about her parents — their grandparents — getting back together. Given that Ridge and Taylor love to spend time with their grandkids, it wouldn’t be fair for them to get involved in the emotional drama that surrounds “Tridge.”

Then there’s the matter with Douglas… Kelly was able to see her cousin all the time while visiting her father Liam and step-mommy Hope. However, if Thomas gets his way and Douglas moves into the Forrester mansion with his dad, given how much time Thomas spends at the cliffhouse, Kelly will be able to see her cousin just as much.
In any case, we send McKinlay a big welcome back — it’ll be nice to see all of these cuties in the mix!
