Bold & Beautiful Shocker: With Major Story Looming, Douglas Is Recast
Once again we are going to see a different face on a daytime character. The Bold and the Beautiful has recast the role of Thomas and Hope’s son Douglas with newcomer Django Ferri. Though the actor was only supposed to be a temporary fill-in for Henry Joseph Samiri, due a scheduling conflict, Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Ferri has now become a permanent recast in the role. Look for him to first appear on Thursday, August 11.
Given the latest Bold and Beautiful spoilers, it looks as though we’ll be seeing Douglas in the middle of a possible tug of war. Thomas has talked about wanting to be more involved with his son on a daily basis and now he is going to take a step to make that happen. In fact, viewers can expect to see Thomas go to Liam and Hope to discuss the possibly of Douglas moving back in with him — permanently.

As we can all imagine, Hope will be very upset and torn, given that she loves Douglas as if he were her own, which will give fans a look into how her own father Deacon will step up and be there for his daughter. Not only will Deacon console Hope, he’ll assure her that she won’t lose Douglas.
However, Deacon can say all he wants but the fact remains that Thomas is a Forrester, a reformed one at that, and if he wants his son back, Hope will surely have a fight on her hands. Not to mention, Taylor has been talking about this since she returned to town so we know she’ll be backing her son 100%.
