Acting since the age of two, Riker was introduced to the theater early in life by her parents who had owned, operated and acted in many theaters throughout the United States. Some of Riker’s notable theater stints include Arthur Miller’s "All My Sons" at the Geffen Playhouse and in the lead role as “The Marquise de Merteuil” in “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” at the Blank Theatre.
As a teenager Riker left her roots in theater to conquer Hollywood. With $45 and a dream of a career in film and television, she packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles. Soon after her arrival, Riker was discovered while working in the commissary in Warner Brothers Studio. Within weeks she received her very first national television job. Riker has been working consistently ever since.
Riker has been the lead actress in a number of primetime sitcoms, including “The Gregory Hines Show” and “Get a Life.” Her film credits include “Stepmonster" and "Brink."
Riker's first role on daytime was on "Days of our Lives" in 2000 as Maureen Lockhart. She returned to daytime in 2008 to play Beth Logan on "The Bold and the Beautiful," and then again in 2016 to play Naomi Dreyfus on "General Hospital."
