Lorenzo Lamas has played the role of Hector Ramirez on The Bold and the Beautiful since March, 2004. Prior to landing the role of Hector on The Bold and the Beautiful, Lamas was probably most famous for his portrayal of Lance Cumson on the primetime drama series Falcon Crest (a role in which he earned two Soap Opera Digest and one Golden Globe Award nominations).

Lamas has additional television credits that include, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Renegade (also directed several episodes), and Dear John. His film credits include, Grease, Snake Eater, CIA: Target Alexa and Body Rock. Over the years, he has also raced cars in IMSA Camel Lights and Skip Barber Formula Dodge series.

He studied in Tony Barr?s Film Actors Workshop. Lamas has many accomplishments in the martial arts. He has studied Karate and tae kwon do since 1976 and has received numerous black belts. He is also co-chairman on several children?s charities, including The Children?s Angel Foundation and The Make A Wish Foundation.
