Though Thanksgiving is a holiday about giving thanks, most people celebrate with large family dinners, where they eat too much food! Soaps.com wants to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating and while we’re on the subject of Thanksgiving and eating, we thought soap fans would want to hear about how the soap stars start their days! Are soap stars that different from you or I when it comes to meal times? Not so much. In fact, these regular folks, who just happen to work in television, eat everything from oatmeal to ice cream for breakfast! Check it out!

Molly Burnett, (Melanie, DOOL) says, “Yesterday I started my film day with a solid smoothie from Robeks, accompanied by a bag of corn pops and a sugar free red bull. I’d like to think that the heathy-ness of the smoothie will balance out the corn pops and the red bull. I’m assuming that once it all hits my stomach, the smoothie will tell my intestines, “It’s okay, they’re with me.”

Mark Hapka, (Nathan, DOOL) says, “Oatmeal. I usually start my day with it…sometimes I make creative omelets but usually Oatmeal. I do however get adventurous with my Oatmeal! I make different concoctions to keep my palate excited about well, eating Oatmeal. Blueberry Banana, Apple Cinnamon, Coconut Mango, etc. 🙂 I’m pretty creative because I LOVE to cook and bake. My friends tend to take advantage of this particular quality…good thing I love cooking for people. My friends favorite breakfast that they love me to make for them- Cinnamon Raison French Toast, stuffed with Asian Pear, Mascarpone cheese and a touch of gorgonzola (trust me) served with a vanilla yogurt dipping sauce.”

Casey Deidrick, (Chad, DOOL) says, “I normally don’t have time to “break” even if it’s “fast,” although I am a sucker for OH’s Cereal. I don’t like to eat anything too colorful, so I stick to the basics such as roast Pheasant with a lemon herb reduction.”

Denise Vasi, AMC, says, “Omg! I’m so embarrassed … this morning I had Haagen-Dazs Chocolate Chip ice cream for breakfast. YIKES!! (Guilty Look)

One Life to Live Actors dish…

Bree Williamson (Jessica) says she had a healthy breakfast in yogurt. Her ex-cast mate, Jason-Shane Scott (ex-Will Rappaport) says, “Same thing as every day… Protein shake and oatmeal with maple syrup, it’s the perfect pre-workout breakfast to build muscle and also have energy to burn.”

Cast mate John Brotherton (Jared) says, “Two cups of coffee. I usually go down to the local deli and get some breakfast, which is typically a wrap, but today, just two cups of coffee.”

Jessica Kaye (Rebecca Lewis) had oatmeal for breakfast when this theme question was asked.

Mark Lawson (Brody Lovett) had an omelet and a latte while Shenell Edmonds (Destiny Evans) had a bagel with butter.

We’ve seen them discuss eating everything from desert for breakfast to regular plain old oatmeal. Soaps.com wonders ‘what’s your pleasure’ when it comes to breakfast? If you want to know what soap stars do for dinner, visit Soap Stars Dish with Soaps.com about Eating Out or Dining in!
