Guiding Light, One Life to Live alum also joined Instagram.
Actress Hayden Panettiere, who started off her career with roles as Sarah Roberts on One Life to Live from 1994 – 1997 and Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light from 1998 – 2000, has reportedly split from her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, who was allegedly abusive and was arrested on two separate occasions for domestic violence during their relationship. US Weekly’s source claims Panettiere is in a better place and that “she and Brian haven’t had contact. He’s moved back to his hometown in South Carolina, and friends are praying this is the end of her journey with him.”
A second source added, “She’s moving ahead with her life and getting back into working in Hollywood and being creative again. It’s all very therapeutic for her.”
Panettiere, who rose to movie and primetime television fame after leaving soaps, and appeared as Claire Bennet on Heroes and Juliette Barnes on Nashville, recently joined Instagram. One of her initial posts was a photo of what she referred to as “newish ink;” a tattoo located on the back of her neck – the Eye of Ra – which can symbolize rebirth and a protective feminine force.
The actress has also shared photos on her new account of her daughter, 5-year-old Kaya, with ex-fiance Wladimir Klitschko. In one photograph, her daughter is drawing on a mold the actress had made of her belly when she was pregnant with her. Panettiere remarked, “After I explained to her how DELICATE 😬 and special it is to mommy I finally gave in and said yes. Luckily daddy helped her with a little outline for her to color in.”
