Soap opera actors and their children break out the posters, caps, and gowns.

It’s the season for graduating from school and celebrating the unofficial beginning of summer. Well deserved for hard-working students, especially this year when the school year faced a lockdown due to the viral situation and classes went online with parents pinch-hitting to fill in the gaps with homeschooling, which is not an easy task! So, congratulations to all! Several soap stars from Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and Young and Restless were among those who recently shared their celebrations…

General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) posted on Instagram about the kindergarten graduation of her daughter, Harper, which was held over Zoom. Storms admitted, “I cried….of course,” and added, “Can’t believe how much she has grown this last year! 🥰 ps. How adorable is the tiny cap & gown?” Harper, who is the daughter of Days of our Lives’ Brandon Barash (Stefan DiMera/Jake Lambert), who also played Johnny Zacchara on General Hospital, posed with her pooch and held a sign that read ‘Last Day of School’. Her cute graduation hairstyle was provided by none other than Barash, who wielded the scissors masterfully with help from Storms and a YouTube tutorial.

Young and Restless stars and former husband and wife, Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman) and Thad Luckinbill (JT Hellstrom) posed with their son, Rowe Luckinbill, as they celebrated his graduation. Heinle stated, “Happy Graduation To our son Rowe Luckinbill!” Previously, she had posted a clip of herself preparing a poster for his grad, along with the caption, “Congratulations to my sweet son Rowe! Graduation day 2020,” Several Young and Restless castmates responded to the posts with love and congratulations.

Melissa Ordway, who plays Young and Restless’ Abby Newman, also marked the beginning of summer with her adorable girls, Olivia and Sophie, and the end of successful homeschooling through the lockdown. She explained, “It’s officially summer!!! Last Friday, we celebrated the girls’ last day of school- Olivia graduated the Blue Room and Sophie graduated Transition.”

Congratulations to all graduates everywhere!
