Hallmark Movie Premieres Set the Stage for New Beginnings During June’s ‘A Little Romance’ Event

New movies just in time for summer, love and romance.

Soaps.com recently reported that When Calls the Heart was renewed for season 8 by the Hallmark Channel. The network has a few more treats in store for viewers with a new June programming event, A Little Romance. Beginning Saturday June 6 and running through Saturday June 20, fans will get to watch three new romances bloom. Be sure to set your DVRs for the premieres listed below…

Cindy Busby and Christopher Russell star as Leah and Mark in Love in the Forecast. Leah’s bright idea to swear off dating for an entire year backfires in a big way. Though she tries to avoid dating at all cost, her new promise to herself ends up turning her into a magnet for men. Tune in Saturday June 13 at 9:00 PM.

Love Under the Olive Tree

Tori Anderson and Benjamin Hollingsworth team up as Nicole Cabella and Jake Brandini in Love Under the Olive Tree. Nicole, who has taken over the reins of her family’s Northern California olive oil business, has big plans to expand. However, when she comes face to face with her childhood crush, Jake, who also happens to be an attorney and the heir apparent to the neighboring ranch, Nicole’s expansion hits a roadblock. The land where she wants to expand could very well belong to Jake’s family, which leads to a faceoff when a judge wants to resolve the issue through Sunset Valley’s annual olive oil contest. The movie premieres Saturday June 20 at 9:00 PM.
