Tune In to ‘Remembering John Callahan: iHub Radio Tribute’

Join All My Children co-stars as they pay tribute to a daytime veteran actor.
Last week, Soaps.com reported that the daytime community lost another soap opera vet when All My Children actor John Callahan passed away on Saturday March 28 at the age of 66. On Saturday April 4 at 1:00 PM EST (10:00 AM PT) fans will be able to tune in to an iHub radio special from Palm Springs where Callahan hosted his weekly podcast. As a way to remember and pay tribute to the actor, station owner John McMullen and Callahan’s former All My Children co-stars Bobbie Eakes (Krystal Carey; Bold and the Beautiful’s Macy Alexander), Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery) and Julia Barr (Brooke English) will co-host the radio event, along with LIVE magazine TV host Melissa Neiderman and other friends.
“We are devastated and share the grief felt by his family, especially daughter Kaya,” said CEO John McMullen. “I just spoke with John on Wednesday and can hardly believe his bigger-than-life personality is no longer with us.”

A longtime resident of the Coachella Valley, Callahan joined iHub Radio at its launch in May 2018. He continued to be a part of the station by doing a weekly show up about everyday life until his passing. All the while, he was active in local theatre with the CV Rep and continued appearing in film and television roles. Though he’ll always be remembered for his All My Children character, Edmund Grey, he appeared on General Hospital (Leo Russell), Santa Barbara (Craig Hunt) and Days of our Lives (Dr. Baker).
Be sure to tune in to the iHub Radio special, and again Soaps.com sends our condolences to the actor’s former wife Eva LaRue (Dr. Maria Santos Grey; Young and the Restless’ Celeste Rosales), who he met on the All My Children set, their daughter Kaya Callahan and all of his family and friends.
