Daytime actors say goodbye to 2019, look forward to what’s ahead.

The end of 2019 also marked the end of the decade, which prompted a lot of introspection from soap opera actors on social media. noticed a trend in actors from The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital and The Young and the Restless posting a top nine photos of 2019 collage, along with reflecting on the past decade and looking forward to what’s to come.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Kiara Barnes (Zoe Buckingham) shared the many lessons she’s learned this year including, “You don’t need someone else’s validation/permission to pursue a dream YOU’VE dreamt.” While Rena Sofer (Quinn Forrester) spent Christmas in Finland with her family, they traveled to Russia to ring in the new decade. Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton) noted his year of ups, downs, and growth and wished everyone a “blessed 2020!!!”

Days of our Lives

Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera) expressed her gratitude for 2019 in her post stating, “What an amazing year! Thank you for all your love and support! Wishing you all a Happy, Healthy, abundant New Year!” Stephen Nichols (Steve Johnson/Stefano DiMera) shared a video of his New Year’s celebration with fellow partygoers, including his wife Lisa, the moment it struck midnight. Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Brady) wished her followers a Happy New Year with a cute photo of her grandson helping her in the garden along with the caption, “Dreams really do come true!”

General Hospital

Sofia Mattsson (Sasha Gilmore) rang in 2020 in France, “Love walking around beautiful and historic Paris while reflecting on the year that’s been, and setting new goals for the year to come.” Briana Nicole Henry (Jordan Ashford) touched on her decade full of discovery, passion, healing, and forgiveness. Tamara Braun (Kim Nero) wished everyone “love, positivity and good health.”

The Young and the Restless

Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell) reflected on her “incredible” year and looked to the future with her new husband, “Here’s to an exciting new decade with lots of new adventures headed our way!” Sasha Calle posted, “Thank you isn’t enough to express what I feel. I love you. 2020, I’m happy to see you. Let’s keep growing.” Mel Ordway (Abby Newman) marveled over her past decade of meeting and marrying Justin Gaston (ex-Ben Rogers, Days of our Lives), working on The Young and the Restless and becoming a mother.
