A holiday break for some daytime soap operas.

The winter months are upon us now and the holidays are drawing near. As with many interruptions over the years, fans can expect some pre-emptions for Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital and Young and the Restless. Soaps.com has all of the details for the ABC, CBS and NBC soap operas during Thanksgiving, as well as the following day deemed Black Friday.

Thursday November 28:

Bold and the Beautiful will air a classic repeat episode.

Days of our Lives will not air a new episode today. As in previous years, The National Dog Show will air in its place. And, if you miss the live premiere of The 93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (9:00 AM to 11:30 AM eastern), the network will air an encore at 2:00 PM.

General Hospital will air a new episode today. First the first time in a long time, the ABC soap opera will be on due to scheduling changes made during the last two weeks of the Trump impeachment hearings.

Young and the Restless will air a new episode.

Friday November 29:

The Bold and the Beautiful will not air today. In its place, CBS Sports Spectacular will air the special, Geico’s 10 Greatest College Football Wide Receivers.

Days of our Lives will not be seen today due to NHL Hockey where the New York Rangers will play the Boston Bruins at the TD Garden Arena in Boston, Massachusetts.

General Hospital will not air a new episode due to a national preemption. In its place will be sports coverage of college football, which pins Virginia Tech against Virginia at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Young and the Restless will air a new episode today. Find out what goes down during the holiday in Soaps.com’s Young and Restless spoilers.
