The Resident
Scott Reeves (Steve Webber, General Hospital; Ryan McNeil, The Young and the Restless) will be seen in the November 12 episode of The Resident. He plays Vince McGill in the episode that takes place on National Nurses’ Day, when the nurses’ at the fictional Chastain Memorial Hospital are severely understaffed and overworked. Of course, a dangerous surgery is performed, ethics are called into question and romantic and family matters abound as well. The Resident stars Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife, Gilmore Girls), Emily VanCamp (Revenge, Brothers & Sisters) and Malcolm-Jamal Warner (Sneaky Pete, Ten Days in the Valley). The series airs on FOX Tuesdays at 8:00 PM EST.

Dash & Lily
Netflix’s upcoming series Dash & Lily has added Michael Park (Jack Snyder, As the World Turns) to its cast. The series is based on the young adult series Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares, written by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. Per Netflix, it’s about “a whirlwind Christmas romance [building] as cynical Dash and optimistic Lily trade notes in a book they pass back and forth in locations around New York.” Park will play Dash’s father, a world traveler who might not be the greatest father. Slated for a 2020 release, Dash & Lily stars Austin Abrams (The Walking Dead) and Midori Francis (Good Boys), as the titular characters and is co-executive produced by singer/actor Nick Jonas and Shawn Levy (Stranger Things).

Little Fires Everywhere
Adding to the impressive cast appearing in the upcoming book adaption of Celeste Ng’s novel, Jessica Tuck (Cassandra Pierce, General Hospital; Megan Gordon, One Life to Live) has been cast in Little Fires Everywhere. She will appear in the sixth episode of the miniseries streaming on Hulu in 2020. She plays Caroline Ellis in the story about a single mother and her teenage daughter moving into and upending a Cleveland, Ohio suburb. Little Fires Everywhere stars soap alums Jamie Ray Newman (Kristina Cassadine, General Hospital) and Obba Babatundé (Julius Avant, The Bold and the Beautiful), as well as Kerry Washington (Scandal), Reese Witherspoon (Big Little Lies), Rosemarie DeWitt (The Last Tycoon), Joshua Jackson (The Affair).
