Soap opera actors on floats for festive holiday event.

Each year soap opera stars from Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital and The Young and the Restless join together to take part in the annual Hollywood Christmas Parade. In its 88th year, again the event will help raise money for Toys for Tots, a program led by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Toys for Tots was founded in 1947 by reservist Major Bill Hendricks and delivers toys to children whose parents can’t afford to purchase Christmas gifts for their little ones. Soaps.com has details for the parade, which will tape live on Sunday December 1 beginning at 5:00 PM and be televised nationwide on The CW network on Friday December 13 at 8:00 PM. So far, soap opera actors scheduled to appear in the parade include Bold and the Beautiful’s Patrika Darbo (Shirley Spectra; Days’ Nancy Wesley), Ian Buchanan (James Warwick) and Lorenzo Lamas (Hector Ramírez), Days of our Lives’ Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans), Kyle Lowder (Rex Brady) and Judi Evans (Adrianne Kiriakis), General Hospital’s Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin), Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio), Leslie Charleson (Monica Quartermaine), Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins/Ryan Chamberlain) and Kristina Wagner (Felicia Jones) and The Young and the Restless’ Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby), Josie Davis (Grace Turner) and Sean Carrigan (Ben ‘Stitch’ Rayburn), along with Kate Linder (Esther Valentine).
