Bold & Beautiful, Young & Restless and General Hospital actors team up for fun.

Self-help is all the rage, but can those leading the charge be trusted? That’s the question the fictional film Reboot Camp poses, as after his wife loses all their money to such gurus, a man teams up with his filmmaker brother to document how easy it is to con people into joining a fake self-help group. What starts out small, turns into a “full-blown cult.” Several soap opera stars appear in the comedy including Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer, The Bold and the Beautiful; Max Brady, Days of our Lives), Kelly Kruger (MacKenzie Browning, The Young and the Restless, Eva, The Bold and the Beautiful), Pierson Fode (ex-Thomas Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful), Michelle Argyris (Kendra Lennon, General Hospital; Flight Attendant, The Bold and the Beautiful), Eric Roberts (Vance Abrams, The Young and the Restless) and Chaz Bono (Reverend Rydale, The Bold and the Beautiful). Non daytime stars include rapper Ja Rule, Ed Begley Jr. (Young Sheldon), Ed Koechner (Bless This Mess), Eddie McClintock (No Good Nick) and Maxim Roy (Shadowhunters). Brooks, Kruger, and Roberts play themselves in the film coming out in 2020.

Fode posted about the movie on Instagram with the caption, “I love Monday’s. Monday’s mean work. Work means shooting. Shooting (contrary to popular belief) means capturing stories that will be saved forever. Stories changed my life. Today I’m thinking about Rocky Balboa while shooting #RebootCampFilm So tell me what story changed your life?” Meanwhile, Kruger posted a photo of herself (still pregnant) from a couple of months ago on the set teasing, “We shot a little cameo in a hysterical film the other day. I’ll share more when I can but it’s so cool to know that baby brooks is already a part of 2 movies. How cool is it that we can watch A Very Corgi Christmas every Christmas together and we can tell her that she was in mummy’s tummy! This film, on the other hand, she can watch when she turns 18 😂 Can’t wait for you guys to see both films! 📸@burlythekid.” Since then, Kruger gave birth to her first child with husband Brooks.

Ivo Raza (Seventeen Hours In) is the writer and director of Reboot Camp and serves as a producer along with David Lipper (Frequency,) who stars as one of the brothers. The movie is currently still filming in Los Angeles.
