Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas Resumes With Soap Stars in New Movies

Soap opera actors spread holiday cheer and fall in love in 2019 Christmas premieres.
In September Soaps.com delivered a second batch of new movie premieres for Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas line-up and now we’re back with more. Mark your calendars with the latest air dates below for Hallmark Channel movies, as well as some on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, featuring soap opera alums from All My Children, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, Loving, Passions and Young and the Restless. A Christmas Miracle
Young and the Restless alum Brooks Darnell (Nate Hastings), Tamera Mowry-Housley and Barry Bostwick star as Marcus, Emma and Santa Dean in A Christmas Miracle. Emma writes for a lifestyle magazine, and on the search for her next story falls for Marcus, a fellow colleague. It isn’t long before Emma makes plans to deliver a special Christmas miracle to a lonely street musician. The premiere airs Thursday November 14 at 9:00 PM on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Christmas Under the Stars
Jesse Metcalfe (Chesapeake Shores, Passions’ Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald) and Autumn Reeser team up as Nick and Julie in Christmas Under the Stars. An investment banker named Nick is fired during the Christmas holiday and takes a job at a struggling Christmas tree lot owned by a widower named Clem. Nick meets Julie, an astronomy teacher, at the lot and learns she’s experiencing financial struggles as well. Once self-centered, Nick now takes joy in helping others and things between him and Julie turn romantic. That is until she learns he was once connected to the corporation harassing her. Nick must make some major life choices between business and pleasure in hopes of sharing a happy holiday with Julie and Clem. Tune in Saturday November 16 at 8:00 PM on the Hallmark Channel.
Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays
Adrian Grenier and Kaitlin Doubleday star as Owen Reed and Harper Ellis, along with appearances by Priscilla Presley and Chase Bryant, in Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays. Harper returns to Memphis and becomes a nanny for a wealthy widower named Owen. While he awaits news about a job overseas, the two grow close and Harper urges Owen to spend more time with his kids. Owen in turn presses Harper to have more confidence. After Harper and Owen take part in an event at Graceland, focused on a fundraiser for Owen’s company and an Elvis at Christmas exhibit, she must decide if her heart belongs in her hometown. The movie airs Saturday November 23 at 8:00 PM on the Hallmark Channel.

A Gift to Remember: 2
Ali Liebert and Young and the Restless alum Peter Porte (Ricky Williams) return as Darcy and Aiden in the sequel to the 2017 movie A Gift to Remember. In A Gift to Remember: 2: Cherished Memories, Darcy and Aiden’s second Christmas together is disrupted when an unexpected guest arrives in town. The arrival sets off a fight to save the beloved community center, which ends up uniting those around them for an unforgettable holiday. The sequel premieres on Sunday November 24 at 8:00 PM on the Hallmark Channel.
The Christmas Club
All My Children’s Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery) and Loving alum Elizabeth Mitchell (Dinah Lee Mayberry Alden) appear as Edward Taylor and Olivia Bennett in The Christmas Club, based on the novel by Barbara Hinske. While helping an elderly woman locate her missing Christmas savings, two busy strangers, Edward and Olivia, find something both have been missing in their lives… true love. Tune in Wednesday November 27 at 8:00 PM on the Hallmark Channel.

Check Inn to Christmas
Rachel Boston and Wes Brown appear as Julia Crawley and Ryan Mason in Check Inn to Christmas In order to save their family inns from being taken over by a chain resort, Julia and Ryan are forced to unite their families during Crestridge’s Centennial Christmas celebration. The premiere airs Thursday November 28 at 8:00 PM on the Hallmark Channel.
Christmas at the Plaza
General Hospital alum Ryan Paevey (Nathan West) and Elizabeth Henstridge play Nick and Jessica in Christmas at the Plaza. Jessica, a historian, takes on a job to create The Plaza’s Christmas display. However, she finds more than she bargained for when she teams up with a handsome decorator named Nick. The movie airs Thursday November 28 at 8:00 PM on the Hallmark Channel.

Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy
As the World Turns alum Ashley Williams (Dani Andropoulos), One Life to Live’s Barbara Niven (Liz), Holly Robinson Peete, Jill Wagner, Paul Greene, Maggie Lawson, Rukiya Bernard and Colin Lawrence star in Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy. A skeptical writer arrives in Evergreen upon hearing that the town is searching for a rumored Christmas Time Capsule. Will this Christmas story be too good to be true? Tune in Friday November 29 at 8:00 PM on the Hallmark Channel.
Sense, Sensibility and Snowmen
When Calls the Heart’s Erin Krakow will play Ella with Luke Macfarlane as Edward in Sense, Sensibility and Snowmen, based off of the novel by Melissa de la Cruz. The story centers around Christmas party planners Ella and her sister who end up clashing with their not-so-jolly client Edward, who happens to be CEO of a toy company. Stay tuned for its premiere Thursday December 5 at 8:00 PM on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
Christmas at Dollywood
Danica McKellar will star as Rachel Lewis, along with legendary singer Dolly Parton, in Christmas at Dollywood, featured at Parton’s amusement park Dollywood. Single mom and Broadway producer Rachel learns investors are the reason her latest theatrical release is now in bankruptcy and receives a tip from a friend about an opportunity in Tennessee surrounding the 20th anniversary of the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival at Dollywood. While working with Dollywood’s entertainment director, Luke Hakman, it’s apparent they have different reasons for the show’s success. Reading to her daughter gives Rachel inspiration for a theme, but the trick will be getting Luke onboard. McKellar’s mother, Mahaila, and son, Draco, will also appear in cameos. Don’t miss the premiere Sunday December 8 at 8:00 PM on the Hallmark Channel.
