Soap opera returns and departures for August and beyond.

August’s comings and goings on Soaps.com included Vincent Irizarry’s debut on The Bold and the Beautiful, details of Robin Strasser’s character on Days of our Lives were revealed, an actress returned as a ghost on General Hospital, and a handful of younger actors joined The Young and the Restless.

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Jeremy Ray Valdez reprised his role of Detective Alex Sanchez, and Joe LoCicero continued to air as Vincent. Finally, Vincent Irizarry debuted as Dr. Jordan Armstrong. Days of our Lives

On Days of our Lives, Bryan Dattilo is returning as Lucas Horton. Arianne Zucker is also returning as the real Nicole Walker. Nadia Bjorlin departed as Chloe Lane, and Lucas Adams left as Tripp Dalton. Laura Kai Chen reprised the role of DA Melinda Trask. Chrishell Stause Hartley’s first airdate as Jordan Ridgeway was revealed. Vernee Watson’s Stella Henry temporarily exited the show. Constance Towers reprised her role as the evil Helena Cassadine. Michael E. Knight is joining in a mysterious role. Patrick J. Gibbons will be back as scout Wyatt Hoover. RuPaul’s Drag Race star Manila Luzon (Karl Westerberg) taped an episode of General Hospital. And Finola Hughes’ return date of Anna Devane was revealed. Young and the Restless

On the Young and the Restless, Martie Blair joined in the role of Bella Fisher, Judah Mackey debuted as Connor Newman, and Alex Wilson took over the role of a slightly older Christian Newman. Joseph C. Phillips was back as Judge Sanders, and Lauren Woodland returned as Brittany Hodges. Jay Montalvo debuted as Adrian Rosales, the estranged ex-husband of Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue).
