Zach Tinker on American Horror Story & Jonathan Groff Reflects on OLTL

Soap opera alums in new popular series and having fun on a daytime talk show.
Stars who once appeared on soap operas All My Children, Another World, Bold and the Beautiful, General Hospital, One Life to Live, and Young and the Restless are landing new roles on upcoming series, and making guest appearances on TV shows. Why Women Kill
All My Children alum Alexandra Daddario (Laurie Lewis) joins The Young and the Restless alum Alicia Coppola (Dr. Meredith Gates), who also played Lorna Devon on Another World, in the TV series, Why Women Kill. Daddario’s role is Jade, while Coppola plays Sheila in the story of three women living in three different decades dealing with cheating spouses that stars Lucy Liu (Charlie’s Angels), Ginnifer Goodwin (Once Upon a Time) and Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Veronica Mars). The series premiered on CBS All Access on August 15.

Shameless
Bold and Beautiful alum Danube Hermosillo, who played the Spectra gang’s ditzy Darlita, has shot at least three episodes of Showtime’s Shameless, though there’s no word on her character as yet. The actress took to social media to share the exciting news. The series, which centers on an Irish American family, the Gallaghers, living on the south side of Chicago, stars William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum. Shameless is set to return for its 10th season on Showtime this fall.
Little Fires Everywhere
Actress Jaime Ray Newman, General Hospital’s Kristina Cassadine, is set to play the role of Elizabeth in the upcoming mini-series Little Fires Everywhere, an adaptation of Celeste Ng’s novel of the same name. Other series cast members include Joshua Jackson (Dawson’s Creek) and Rosemarie DeWitt (Mad Men). Little Fires Everywhere is slated to air in 2020.
American Horror Story
The Young and the Restless’ Fenmore Baldwin, actor Zach Tinker, will be appearing as Sam in an upcoming episode of American Horror Story, a drama/horror/thriller anthology series. Season 9 of American Horror Story: 1984 is set to premiere on FX on Wednesday September 18, with Tinker’s episode, entitled Mr. Jingles, slated for broadcast on Wednesday September 25.

One Life to Live memories
Mindhunter actor, and One Life to Live alum, Jonathan Groff (Henry Mackler) appeared on Live with Kelly and Ryan on Monday August 19 to chat and laughed about why he tried to get out of this first day on the ABC soap opera, shared who is mowing the lawn at his new home in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, then dished with Ripa about vacationing in Wildwood, New Jersey where he has childhood memories.
