Soap Alums in Hallmark Summer Nights Premieres Capture Sweet Romance
Former soap opera stars in annual special centering around cool days and hot summer nights.
In May, Soaps.com revealed the schedule for the Hallmark Channel’s June Weddings event, which featured soap opera alums, as well as Hallmark’s Christmas in July premieres. Next up is the annual Summer Nights special, starring former As the World Turns, Days of our Lives, Guiding Light, General Hospital and Young and the Restless stars. Rome In Love
Young and The Restless alum Peter Porte (Ricky Williams) and Italia Ricci star as Philip Hamilton and Amelia Tate in Rome in Love. An unknown actress lands the role of a lifetime and is paired with an American journalist in Rome who’s writing a profile. During their time spent together, she discovers surprises about life and love. Tune in Saturday July 27 at 9:00 PM.
Love and Sunshine
Danica McKellar appears as Ally Craig along with Guiding Light alum Mark Deklin (Joe) as Jake Terry in Love and Sunshine. Retired military dog Sunshine lives with American Rescue volunteer Ally and has been a big means of support following her recent breakup. When Sunshine’s military partner, Jake, returns to take her home, it’s soon apparent that loving Sunshine isn’t all Ally and Jake have in common. Tune in Saturday August 3 at 9:00 PM.

A Taste of Summer
Former Days of our Lives actor Eric Winter (ex-Rex Brady) stars opposite his wife As the World Turns alum Roselyn Sanchez (Pilar Domingo) as 
Caleb and Gabby in A Taste of Summer. After Gabby leaves a posh Manhattan eatery as a sous-chef to open her own restaurant in New England, she scouts the local competition and meets Caleb, the owner of Delaney’s Coastal Grille. He warns Gabby about the difficulties of owning a restaurant and out-crowds hers on opening night with a wing promotion. However, it’s during the Taste of Summer Festival where competitiveness, inspiration and a hint of romance ignite. The premiere airs Saturday August 10 at 9:00 PM.
A Summer Romance

All Summer Long
Look for Autumn Reeser and Brennan Elliott to play Tia Larkin and Jake Jarett in All Summer Long. Tia wants to be the new captain of the yacht her aunt and uncle inherited and a part of their new business venture – a restaurant cruise around the San Francisco Bay. When it’s revealed her ex-boyfriend Jake is the new chef, they are forced to put the past behind them and work together to repair the restaurant’s reputation after a sailing mishap. The movie premieres Saturday August 24 9:00 PM.
