Soap Actresses Celebrate Daytime Nominations at Leading Ladies Luncheon
A day spent to honor the women of daytime television.
On Sunday April 28, various soap opera actresses got together to spend the day celebrating their 46th Annual Daytime Emmy nominations with Young and the Restless’ Eileen Davidson, who took home the Leading Actress win last year. Those in attendance for the annual luncheon included Leading Actress nominees Bold and the Beautiful’s Heather Tom (Katie Logan) and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester), Days of our Lives’ Marci Miller (Abigail DiMera), General Hospital’s Maura West (Ava Jerome) and Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos), Supporting Actress nominees General Hospital’s Vernee Watson (Stella Henry) and Young and the Restless’ Beth Maitland (Traci Abbott).
Of the special time spent together, Young and the Restless’ Davidson shared, “These amazing nominees!!! What a group of incredible women! @daytimeemmys what a day with these ladies who luncheon! ❤,” and posted a photo of the ladies.
General Hospital’s Wright posted the same photo and added, “So grateful to spend the day with these beautiful and talented women!!!! #ladiesluncheon #tradition #daytimeemmys2019 #daytimesisters Thank You @eileendavidsonofficial I’m still full!!!!”
Days of our Lives’ Miller shared a photo with her fellow NBC soap actresses, Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker), Sal Stowers (Lani Price) and Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez), who turned up to join the festivities, and stated, “These darlings! What a sweet afternoon. Happy Emmy week, gals! Xo.”
The 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards will take place this weekend, Sunday May 5, and be streamed live online via the Daytime Emmys official Facebook page.
