Daytime actors honor their on and offscreen siblings.

Though not federally recognized (but it is the goal), April 10 was National Siblings Day. The date was chosen to honor the birthday of the holiday’s founder Claudia Evart’s sister Lisette, who she lost early in life along with another sibling. Evart also started the Siblings Day Foundation non-profit, which was incorporated in 1997 and hosts programs such as Lost Siblings Registry, Adopt-A-Siblings Program, and Siblings Rights Projects, all in the name of enhancing and strengthening the sibling bond. The day is taken as a way to honor “the people who have shaped our values, beliefs, and ideals.” The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless stars got in on the celebration by posting photos of their real, fictional, and non-related brothers and sisters, which Soaps.com has compiled below.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Matthew Atkinson (Thomas Forrester) honored his onscreen sister Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) by reposting The Bold and the Beautiful’s photo of them on set, with the caption “Tell us who your favorite #BoldandBeautiful siblings are.” Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton) posted a throwback pic of him in what looks like Superman pajamas with his sister saying, “HAPPY #nationalsiblingday Me and my baby sis. I might of gotten in trouble this day for pouring all the dish soap down the drain. I thought it was juice and the sink looked thirsty.” And Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) shared photos of her family, saying, “Happy National Siblings Day to my brothers and sister. Thanks for keeping life interesting and making it much more fun.”

Days of our Lives

Martha Madison (Belle Black Brady) posted a couple photos of her with her two sisters, one of which has them in Charlie’s Angels poses, calling them her “partners in crime.” Meanwhile, Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez) gave her sister a shoutout with, “She gets me when so many do not. I love this human being with all my power and would do anything I mean ANYTHING for this hunny bunny and when I say hunny bunny I mean this bunny is the cutest hunnnnnnyyyyy !!!! Love you Gabriela Banus !!!!” And Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Brady Johnson) posted a great collage of all her Brady siblings with the caption, “I can’t let this #nationalsiblingday pass without a shoutout to some of my favorite onscreen siblings. These Bradys — Frankie, Max, Bo, Roman & Kim — have always made my #Days bright. We’re missing a few, but Roman & I are holding down the Brady pub! #nationalsiblingday.”

General Hospital

Chloe Lanier (Nelle Benson) paid tribute to a friend saying, “Happy #nationalsiblings to my sister from another mister … Thank you for being the weirdest, craziest, most incredible best friend a girl could ask for.” Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase) got in on the action with a photo of him surrounded by his three sisters captioned, “These beautiful ladies have shaped me so much. I don’t know what I’d do without them.” Meanwhile, Nicolas Bechtel (Spencer Cassadine) posted a photo of him hugging his sister when they were much younger calling her his “best friend since day 1.”
