In March Soaps.com brought readers details for the Hallmark Channel’s Spring Fever movies, which are currently airing and feature soap opera alums. Fans of the channel can look forward to four new movies in May as part of the Countdown to Summer event, to include former Days of our Lives and General Hospital actors.
Paris, Wine and Romance

A Feeling of Home
General Hospital alum Nathan Parsons (Ethan Lovett) and Jonna Walsh (The Fosters, Baby Daddy) will play Ryan and Abby in Feels Like Home. Abby, host of a new web series, plans to launch her own line of home products but needs to film a few more authentically northeastern webisodes first. However, when Abby must return to her Texas hometown to help her father with his ranch, she runs into the ranch manager, her former boyfriend Ryan, and must decide where she belongs – deep in the heart of Texas or in the northeast for work. The premiere kicks off on Saturday May 11 at 9:00 PM.

Sailing Into Love
Leah Renee (Grimm) and Chris McNally (When Calls the Heart) team up in Sailing Into Love as Claire and Jason. Claire’s a biology teacher who not only teaches a summer enrichment class on Blue Island but works to juggle her bridesmaid duties to her three friends. Things get even more hectic when word reaches the locales that Claire’s former boyfriend Jason works for a developer who plans to build a resort on the island. Mark your calendars for Saturday May 18 at 9:00 PM.
From Friend to Fiancé
General Hospital alum Ryan Paevey (Nathan) and Young and the Restless’ Kelly Kruger’s (Mac) star as Ted and Kimberly in Hallmark’s From Friend to Fiancé. Tune in Saturday May 25 at 9:00 PM.
Love in the Sun
Days of our Lives alum Shawn Christian (Dr. Daniel Jonas), along with Emeraude Toubia (Alana) and Tom Maden (Kai), star in Love In The Sun. The story follows newly engaged dating app creator Alana, who returns to her Florida hometown to share the news with her father. When she runs into her former love, Kai, and agrees to team up to help restore her dad’s declining property, Alana is torn between her current way of living or the hometown and people she’s always loved. The movie will air Monday May 27 at 9:00 PM.
