One last weekend in Florida for soap opera actors and their fans.
Soaps.com has details for this year’s SoapFest Charity Weekend, which will be the organization’s final fan weekend in Florida to support the arts for kids and children with special needs. Soap stars who have confirmed to be in attendance include The Bold and the Beautiful’s Patrika Darbo (Shirley), former Days of our Lives actress Melissa Archer (Serena), General Hospital’s Hayley Erin (Kiki), Josh Swickard (Chase) and Donnell Turner (Curtis), Guiding Light’s John Driscoll (Coop), One Life to Live’s real life sister and brother duo Kristen Alderson (Starr) and Eddie Alderson (Matthew), and The Young and the Restless’ Kate Linder (Esther), Jeff Branson (Ronan), Christian LeBlanc (Michael), Sean Carrigan (Stitch) and Camryn Grimes (Mariah).
Friday May 24 will be a private Welcome Party, for sponsors only, beginning at 7:00 PM followed by…
Saturday May 25’s big Night of Stars at the Rose History Auditorium (180 South Heathwood Drive) at 7:00 PM. The VIP party offers several up close and personal opportunities with the actors including autograph signings and photos, plus Q&A sessions, live auctions and so much more.
Sunday May 26 begins with the Cruisin’, Boozin’ & Schmoozin’ three hour boat ride on the Marco Island Princess leaving at 12:00 PM. Fans will get to mix and mingle with the soap stars and enjoy photographs, autographs, raffles for daytime drama memorabilia (signed scripts, iconic clothing, jewelry and more), brunch and an auction. 8:00 PM will kick off the Celebrity Karaoke Bar Bash with DJ Jared. The after party will feature dancing, drinks and a contest for favorite bartender and best karaoke singer.
Monday May 27 will end the fun in the sun with a VIP Farewell Brunch at 12:00 PM for sponsors and donors only.
Full details for each event, how you can be a donor, and ticket purchases are available at SoapFest, as well as future announcements for various actors who have yet to confirm.
