All My Children and Days alums warm up cold January nights in primetime.
The Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas wrapped up and Soaps.com is back with calendar alerts for the network’s Winterfest event. Starting Saturday January 5, five new movies will premiere each weekend of the month and will feature soap opera alums from All My Children and Days of our Lives.
Winter Castle
Emilie Ullerup and Kevin McGarry star in Winter Castle, in which Jenny (Ullerup), born and raised in California, couldn’t be happier when her sister Meg plans a destination wedding at an ice hotel. It’s not only the hotel’s magical décor that holds her attention but the groom’s best man Craig (McGarry). Tune in Saturday January 5 at 8:00 PM.
One Winter Proposal
One Winter Weekend actors Jack Turner, Taylor Cole, Rukiya Bernard, and Deshawne Williams return as Ben, Cara, Megan and Sean for the sequel One Winter Proposal where the foursome returns to the ski resort where they first met and first fell in love. Set your DVRs for Saturday January 12 at 8:00 PM.
A Winter Princess
All My Children alum Natalie Hall (Colby Chandler) and Chris McNally team up in A Winter Princess. Winter Love Story
Days of our Lives actress Jen Lilley (Theresa Donovan) and Kevin McGarry play Cassie and Elliot in Winter Love Story. In an attempt to boost the low sales of her first novel, Cassie is paired on a book tour with another author, Elliot. Along their tour, it’s not only sales that take off but a novel romance as well. Dawson Creek’s Mary-Margaret Humes also stars as Jeannine in the movie that airs Saturday January 19 at 8:00 PM.
Snowcoming
Days of our Lives alum Trevor Donovan (Jeremy Horton) and Lindy Booth play opposite in Snowcoming. Samantha (Booth) returns to her hometown for its winter festival in order to honor her father during his retirement from coaching. However, upon seeing NFL quarterback Jake (Donovan), who also happens to be her high school sweetheart, Samantha realizes the trip home is going to be anything but a quiet one. NFL legends Joe Theismann and Ed Marinaro (Days’ Leo, 2011) also star as Lenny and Coach Kerrigan. Tune in Saturday January 26 at 8:00 PM.
