18th Annual GLAAD Media Awards
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has announced the nominees for the 18th Annual GLAAD Media Awards.
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. GLAAD awards recognize and honor mainstream media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representation of these gay, bisexual and transgendered persons.
This is the third consecutive year that GLAAD will be televised on LOGO, MTV Networks’ cable channel April 21, 2007. (Please check your local listings for the time and channel) and can be watched The ceremonies will be held in New York on March 26, 2007 at the Marriott Marquis; in Los Angeles on April 14 at the Kodak Theatre; in San Francisco on April 28 at the Westin St. Francis; and in South Florida on May 10 at the JW Marriott Miami.
