B&B, Days and General Hospital alums team up in new film.
Soaps.com has details for a new Lifetime thriller that is jam-packed with soap opera stars, past and present. The Bold and the Beautiful alum Maeve Quinlan (Megan Conley), Days of our Lives’ Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson) and General Hospital’s John J. York (Mac Scorpio) and Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne) star in The Sinister Surrogate alongside Jaclyn Hales and Brian Ames.
The story surrounds a couple, Josh (Ames) and Danielle (Thiebaud), who find the perfect person, Kailee (Hales), to be the surrogate of their child. When their baby girl is born, the couple is faced with a fear of how deep a mother’s love really goes. Things take a dark twist when it becomes uncertain if Kailee is the one they really need to fear or if someone else is pulling the strings and using her as a pawn in their own game. In the end, a person goes to great lengths to take what they believe is theirs. Quinlan plays Carol Morrison with Evans as Dr. Jorgensen and York as Detective Logan.
During the taping of the movie, Quinlan posted a photo of her and Thiebaud and stated, “#TBT to last weekend when I got to not only play but literally rough and tumble with this amazing actress who is even more gorgeous on the inside than she is on the out. @keeelyt you are a GEM to work with. Bring it on again! #TheSurrogate.” Thiebaud went on to share a picture with her General Hospital co-star captioned, “I love me some John York!”
Tune in to Lifetime for the premiere on Saturday October 13 at 9:00 PM.
