The glitz and glamour before the 45th daytime ceremony.

Soaps.com has learned that General Hospital actress Carolyn Hennesy, who plays Diane Miller, will once again be on hand to welcome the soap opera actors and stars of daytime television as they arrive on the red carpet prior to the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which fans can watch streamed live online. The red carpet show will take place outside the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in California on Sunday April 29 – stay tuned for the time yet to be revealed. The announcement was made Tuesday evening on March 27 in an Instagram video posted by the Daytime Emmys with Hennesy on the set of Hallmark’s Home & Family, where she was taping an episode with hosts Mark Steines and Debbie Matenopoulos to discuss the awards show.

The Daytime Emmys stated, “Our host of the 45th Annual Daytime Emmys Facebook Live Red Carpet and Post Daytime Emmys Backstage Interviews, @carolynhennesy on the set of @hallmarkchannel ‘s @homeandfamilytv Tune in Wednesday, April 27th to Home and Family to find out more about what Carolyn will be doing on the #redcarpet and how to make @marksteines amazing #baconburger #homeandfamily #hallmark.”

Please note… though the post listed Hennesy’s Home & Family appearance in April, she’ll actually appear today March 28, as listed on the Hallmark show’s website. Check your local listings for air times.

The GH actress also posted a photo on the set of the Hallmark talk show with the caption, “Question: am I stunned by what Debbie is saying or am I prepping for the burger? #homeandfamily #homeandfamilytv #hallmarkchannel #iknowcoolpeople #iveyabitzcouture #hamburgers.”
