Casting news for the month of February and beyond.

February’s comings and goings on Soaps.com included an actress announcing her departure from The Bold and the Beautiful, a brief return by a fan favorite on Days of our Lives, several familiar faces back on General Hospital, and returns to celebrate The Young and the Restless‘ 45th anniversary.

The Bold and the Beautiful:
Obba Babatunde and Anna Maria Horsford returned to B&B as Julius and Vivienne Avant for Ridge and Brooke’s wedding, along with Jennifer Gareis as Donna Logan. Susan Flannery’s voice was also part of the festivities when Brooke got a message from Stephanie Forrester from beyond the grave. Ashleigh Brewer announced that after 4 years of playing Ivy Forrester she was going to be leaving the show to pursue other options. Pierson Fode, who departed in late 2017, is returning as Thomas Forrester for a short term storyline arc. Days of our Lives:
Lisa Rinna made a brief return to Days as Billie Reed. Martha Hackett also made a trip back to Salem as the head of the ISA, Pamela Van Damme, along with Laura Kai Chen as D.A. Melinda Trask. General Hospital:
Brytni Sarpy returned as Valerie Spencer, along with Kimberly McCullough as Robin Scorpio-Drake for the funeral of Nathan West. Lindze Letherman also made a surprise return to GH as Georgie Jones’ ghost, who comforted her sister Maxie at the funeral. Sonya Eddy was seen as hospital nurse Epiphany Johnson for Liz’s upcoming wedding to Franco, and Marc Anthony Samuel announced his return for the nuptials as well. Anthony Montgomery’s character Andre Maddox was released from prison and made his return to town. Josh Swickard joined the soap as Detective Harrison Chase, Dante’s new partner at the PCPD. Young and the Restless:
Melissa Ordway announced her return to Y&R after going on maternity leave. Darnell Kirkwood made his way back as Jordan Wilde, and Greg Rikaart also returned as Kevin Fisher. Robert Adamson left the soap as Noah Newman. Catherine Bach returns as Anita. For the show’s 45th anniversary several veterans are returning, including Jaime Lyn Bauer (Lorie Brooks), Janice Lynde (Leslie Brooks), Meg Bennett (Julia Newman), David Lago (Raul Guittierez), Kelly Kruger (Mackenzie Browning), Lauren Woodland (Brittany Hodges) and Jess Walton (Jill Abbott).
