Outstanding Daily Drama:
The Bold and the Beautiful
Days of our Lives
The Young and the Restless

Last year, as with the year prior to that, The Bold and the Beautiful received GLAAD’s sole nomination and therefore took home the award for the storyline surrounding Rick and Maya Forrester’s quest to have a child via surrogate through her sister Nicole Avant.

Some of the aspects that are looked at when picking nominees include ‘Boldness and Originality’, an important ‘Cultural Impact’ and ‘Overall Quality’ of a project. The voters are broke down into three groups consisting of GLAAD staff and board, GLAAD Shareholders Circle members and GLAAD volunteers and allies (previous special honorees, key media industry allies and event production teams). will announce the winner when they’re revealed and we wish the soaps the best of luck!
