Courtney Hope & Chad Duell Behind the Scenes of ‘The Friend Zone’
B&B and GH couple team up in upcoming film.
“The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) and “General Hospital’s” Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos Quartermaine) have been dating for some time now and will soon appear together onscreen in the upcoming film “The Friend Zone.” Soaps.com has learned that the project, which is in post-production, was directed by Craig Goldstein (“The Wrong Mother”), written by D.C. Freedman and Brooke Purdy and produced by Cartel HQ.
Of the thriller, owner of Cartel HQ Stan Spry revealed to Soap Opera News, “When Megan’s fiancé is brutally killed, she moves cross country and rebuilds her life with a new boyfriend and a closer relationship to her sister. When she runs into one of her old colleagues, Lloyd, she is pleasantly surprised and the pair become close friends; yet, Lloyd wants more and he soon begins to sabotage everything in Megan’s life which keeps them apart: His ultimate plan is to make Megan his…no matter who gets hurt in the process.”
Hope will appear as Brooke with Duell as Jack. Soap opera alums also taking part in the project include Matthew Borlenghi (“All My Children,” “B&B,” “Days of our Lives”) as Pete, Kayla Ewell (“B&B,” “The Vampire Diaries”) as Kate, Drew Seeley (“Guiding Light”) stars as Lloyd and Pamela Roylance (“Days”) as Bessie. Also cast is Karissa Lee Staples (“The Lottery”), who stars as Megan, Brian Ames (“Drop Dead Diva”) as Chris and Al Burke (“The Wrong Nanny”) as Sergeant Hill.
The film recreantly wrapped in Los Angeles, California with an anticipated released date of February 2018.
