Soaps.com’s Comings & Goings: Harmon out, Rademacher and Rinna in

Casting news for the month of September and a look at what’s ahead.
September’s comings and goings on Soaps.com included a “General Hospital” actor jumping over to “The Bold and the Beautiful,” two “Big Brother 19” contestants appearing on “B&B,” a popular actress returning to “Days of our Lives,” and the return of a fan favorite to “The Young and the Restless.”
The Bold and the Beautiful:
On “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Pierson Fode announced he was leaving the role of Thomas Forrester, which he’s played since 2015. TV host Kym Douglas, wife of “Y&R” alum Jerry Douglas (John Abbott), made a brief appearance. Francisco San Martin was cast as Mateo, an estate manager who will be working at the Forrester mansion. “Big Brother 19” contestant Jessica Graf, and the show’s winner Josh Martinez are scheduled to make appearances. News broke that Winsor Harmon was being replaced as Thorne Forrester by “GH” actor Ingo Rademacher. Days of our Lives:
Aaron D Spears made his last appearance as Commissioner Raines, while Craig Welzbacher said goodbye to Salem and the role of Myron. Paul Telfer made a quick return as Xander Kiriakis. Robert Scott Wilson is set to return as the necktie killer Ben Weston, and James Read is returning too as his father Clyde Weston. Chandler Massey began airing again as Will Horton in both dreams and hallucinations by various residents of Salem. It was revealed that Lisa Rinna will be returning as Billie Reed sometime in early 2018. Robin Strasser (Dorian Lord “One Life to Live”) teased on social media that she may make an appearance on “Days.” Finally it was revealed that Tyler Christopher’s character will be named Stefan. General Hospital:
Patrick Gallagher, who played Ken Tanaka on “Glee,” made a surprise appearance as a hospital guard. Agnes Olech debuted in the short term role of Larisa, a woman who works for the Baronski clinic. Deborah Strang took over the role of Franco’s adoptive mother Betsy Frank from Betsy Franco who originated it. Londyn Silzer, the sister of Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Port Charles’ Emma Scorpio-Drake), debuted as Bailey Caldwell, a girl who needed treatment at Shriners Hospitals for Children. Charlene Amoia played her mother Rose. Steve Burton made his long awaited return as the mysterious Patient Six. Jessica Tuck joined the soap in the recurring role of Cassandra Pierce, a jewel thief and fence. Brea Bee appeared in a few episodes as Sharon Grant, the sister of Nelle’s late fiancé Zack. Tamara Braun is rumored to be returning to the soap, but in an entirely new role. Young and the Restless:
