Another year, another exciting network milestone.

Soaps.com congratulates everyone at CBS on reaching another great millstone for its daytime lineup, which includes “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless,” as well as their fellow daytime shows “Let’s Make a Deal,” “The Price is Right” and “The Talk.” The network’s daytime lineup ended the full 52 week 2016/2017 season celebrating another year at #1, making it the 31st consecutive year in the top slot, one of the longest winning streaks in television history, finishing with 3.90 million total viewers, 1.1/08 in women 25 – 54 and a tie at 0.7/06 million in women 18 – 49.

Looking at the numbers… CBS had the most show viewers for “The Price is Right,” Tamara-Clatterbuck-Jennifer-Gareis-Sharon-Case-bb-yr-jjthe network’s longest-running game show, as well as the most viewers for both women 18 – 49 and women 25 – 54 for “The Young and the Restless.” Nielsen’s most current ratings/highlights for the 52 week full broadcast 2016/2017 television year, released by CBS, break down as follows…

The network had the top five programs in all viewers with “The Price is Right” (2) at 5.40 million, “The Young and the Restless” at 4.84 million, “The Price is Right” (1) at 4.72 million, “The Bold and the Beautiful” at 3.85 million and “Let’s Make a Deal” (2) at 3.36 million.

CBS had four of the top five programs in women 25 – 54 with “The Young and the Restless” at 1.5 million, “The Bold and the Beautiful” at 1.3 million, “The Price is Right” (2) at 1.3 million and “The Price is Right (1) at 1.1 million.

As well as four of the top five programs in women 18 – 49 with “The Young and the Restless” at 1.0 million, “The Price is Right” (2) at 0.9 viewers, “The Price is Right (1) at 0.8 and “The Bold and the Beautiful” at 0.8.

All in all, more than any other network, CBS daytime programs reached 120.0 million viewers, who watched at least six minutes, and 59.3 million women 18 and older.
