Soaps.com has uncovered Hallmark premieres, new films, a big fan request and more surrounding former actors of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” and “The Young and the Restless.”

Gina Rodriguez (“The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Beverly 2011 to 2012; “Jane the Virgin”) made one girl’s prom night very special. Charter School for Applied Technologies student Jessica Casanova tweeted the actress in the beginning of the year, sharing her dream to wear Rodriguez’s Golden Globes gown to her senior prom in Buffalo, New York. The actress ended up connecting with the lucky fan and made her dream come true by letting her wear the Badgley Mischka gown that Rodriguez accepted her first Golden Globes Award in!

Alan Thicke stars in Hallmark’s Stop the Wedding.
Alan Thicke, who played Rich Ginger on “The Bold and the Beautiful” from 2006 to 2009, will appear in the upcoming Hallmark movie “Stop the Wedding.” As part of the network’s June Weddings line-up, the actor will play Sean Castleberry, a television star known for his failed marriages, who becomes engaged to an attorney (Teryl Rothery, “Cedar Cove”) – much to her daughter Anna’s (Rachel Boston, “Witches of East End”) dismay. Based on the 2013 novel by Stephanie Bond, viewers will be taken on an adventure as Anna and Clay (Niall Matter, “Remedy”) work quickly to stop the wedding. Tune in Saturday June 11 at 9:00 PM for its Hallmark Channel premiere. Thicke is most recognized for playing Dr. Jason Seaver on “Growing Pains” from 1985 to 1992.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” alum Paulo Benedeti (Antonio Dominguez, on and off from 2001 to 2013) has been cast in the new project “The Etruscan Smile.” Based on the Spanish novel La sonrisa etrusca by José Luis Sampedro, the story follows an old Scotsman (Brian Cox, “War & Peace”) who hopes to receive treatment, due to a terminal illness, and travels from his home on the island of Vallasay, Scotland to San Francisco. Look for Benedeti as Chef Paulo with Rosanna Arquette (“Ray Donovan”) as Claudia in the 2017 film. The actor also played Jesse Blue on “Guiding Light” from 1997 to 2000.

Trevor Donovan in Hallmark Movie & Mysteries’ JL Family Ranch.
Former “Days of our Lives” actor Trevor Donovan (Jeremy Horton, 2007) will be taking part in Hallmark Movie & Mysteries’ summer premiere “JL Family Ranch.” Executively produced by Jon Voight and Steven Paul, the premise follows veteran rancher and former sheriff John Landsburg (Voight) as he faces an old enemy, Tap Peterson (James Caan), who claims Landsburg doesn’t own his family’s ranch. Donovan plays Brady Landsburg with Melanie Griffith as Laura Lee and Teri Polo as Rebecca Landsburg. Tune in Sunday August 21 at 9:00 PM.

Soap opera actors in Marriage of Lies.
For those who missed “Marriage of Lies,” which premiered late last month, Lifetime will be airing encores of its original thriller throughout this week. The daytime star-studded film focuses on a woman’s fight to prove her innocence in the disappearance of her husband Tye Wilson (Brody Hutzler, “Days of our Lives’” Patrick Lockhart, “Y&R’s” Cody Dixon, “Guiding Light’s” Zachary Smith) while uncovering many secrets about him along the way. Former daytime stars appearing in the film include Virginia Williams (“As the World Turns’” Brandy Taylor, “One Life to Live’s” Lorna Van Skyver) as Jessica, John Griffin (“Y&R’s” Tom) as Jack, Zachary Garred (“General Hospital’s” Levi Dunkleman) as Detective Roper, Jimmy Deshler (“General Hospital’s” Rafe Kovich Jr.) as Billy, Eric Scott Woods (“Another World’s” Evan Bates Frame) as Trafford and Ryan Bittle (“All My Children’s” JR Chandler) as Dylan. Cynthia Watros in The Night Shift.
“The Young and the Restless’” Cynthia Watros, who played Kelly Andrews from 2013 to 2015, is heading back to primetime. The actress will guest star as Rebecca during episode four of NBC’s upcoming season three of “The Night Shift.” The medical drama surrounds San Antonio Medical Center’s overnight shift and its staff, some of which have various connections to the United States military. Watros’ episode will air toward the end of the month. Tune in Wednesdays at 10:00 PM. The actress’ other daytime credits include roles on “Guiding Light” (Annie Dutton Banks, 1997 to 1998) and “Another World” (Vicky Hudson, 1998).
