Susan Lucci and Liza Huber share their personal story.
Mother/daughter duo Susan Lucci (“Devious Maids,” “All My Children’s” Erica Kane, 1970 to 2011) and Liza Huber (“Passions'” Gwen Hotchkiss, 1999 to 2008) recently talked to WPIX in New York about their passion to help those with Cerebral Palsy and how it’s affected them personally. Huber’s son has the neurological disease which affects muscle movement and underwent surgery that now makes it possible for him to walk up stairs. “As the World Turns” fan favorite Colleen Zenk (Barbara Ryan, 1978 to 2010) will be taking the stage in “Inside the Box” to benefit Planned Parenthood on Thursday June 16 at 2:30 PM. The ninety minute play will surround what happens when a hidden past resurfaces and how two people debate which path is right to take for the future. Husband and wife team Austin Peck and Terri Conn appear in the short film “Jack & Diane,” which is set to screen at this year’s Hoboken International Film Festival. Directed by Jennifer Pepperman, who’s worked on “As the World Turns” and “One Life to Live,” the story focuses on ‘the one that got away’ and whether or not, after twenty years, he was just a fantasy or someone’s destiny. Peck’s daytime credits include “Days of our Lives'” Austin Reed (1996 to 2007), “As the World Turns'” Brad Snyder (2007 to 2009) and “One Life to Live’s” Rick Powers (2011 to 2012). Conn appeared opposite her husband on “ATWT” as Katie Peretti (1998 to 2010) and played Aubrey Wentworth on “One Life to Live” (2010 to 2011). The couple married on July 1, 2011 and shares two children, as well as others from previous marriages.

“Guiding Light” actor Matt Bomer (Ben Reade, 2002 to 2003) will appear in the western film “The Magnificent Seven.” Look for him to play the husband of Emma Cullen (Haley Bennett), who enlists the help of seven gunmen to protect her town from thieves. The star-studded cast includes Chris Pratt (“Jurassic World”), Denzel Washington (“The Equalizer”), Ethan Hawke (“The Phenom”), Vincent D’Onofrio (“Emerald City”) and Cam Gigandet (“Twilight,” “The Young and the Restless'” Daniel Romalotti, 2004). New primetime series! Taylor Spreitler in Kevin Can Wait

Florencia Lozano lands series regular role on Narcos.
“One Life to Live” alum Florencia Lozano (Téa Delgado, 1997 to 2013) will be turning up as a series regular in season two of Netflix’s original crime drama “Narcos.” The series follows the real-life struggles that law enforcement face in controlling cocaine drug cartels across world. Look for Florencia to first appear as DEA Agent Claudia Messina in July, playing opposite Wagner Moura as Pablo Escobar and Pedro Pascal as Javier Pena. The actress also crossed over to “General Hospital” with her “One Life” character in 2013.

Laura Harrier join Marisa Tomei in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Laura Harrier landed her first daytime role during the 2013 online reboot of “One Life to Live” in the role of Destiny Evans, previously played by Shenell Edmonds. The actress has now joined the cast of the upcoming film “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Though her character and plot details are being kept hush-hush, Harrier will join Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Zendaya as Michelle, Tony Revolori as Manuel and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man in the Sony reboot. Tomei is no stranger to daytime, having played Marcy Thompson in 1984 on “As the World Turns.” Stay tuned for its July 2017 release.

Jesse Metcalfe’s Chesapeake Shores finally gets a premiere date.
The much anticipated Hallmark original series Chesapeake Shores, starring Jesse Metcalfe, has received a premiere date! Based on the novels by bestselling author Sherryl Woods, the epic, multi-generational family drama will begin its summer run on Sunday August 14 at 9:00 PM. Tune in each Sunday to see Metcalfe (“Passions'” Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald; “Dallas” Christopher Ewing) as Trace and go on location by watching a preview of what’s to come on the series.
