Soaps.com’s Soap opera year in review

Twelve months of drama in 2015.
It’s almost 2016 and there is a world of soap opera storylines just ahead. But before we can even think about the drama yet to come, it’s time for Soaps.com’s annual review of the previous 12 months of shockers, clunkers, romance, revenge and more.
With only four daytime soap operas on network television, we expect more than ever from our beloved stories. We want our characters to remain true to who they are and used to their full potential. We want plots that are layered but not overloaded. We want relationships that reflect real life, but with absolutely over-the-top antics. And above all, every once in a while we expect something on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” or “The Young and the Restless” to actually make us gasp.
Vote in our year end polls to let Soaps.com know what you thought about all that happened this year, good and bad, and leave a comment about any standout moment we missed.
