Mackenzie Mauzy’s Forever… gone forever.
If you were hoping that ABC’s supernatural drama Forever, starring Mackenzie Mauzy would be rebooted on a new network, Soaps.com regrets to report that despite having been shopped around no one else is interested in continuing on with the series. The show was initially canceled in May after season one with hopes that another network would pick it up. Series creator Matt Miller made the end official through a press release via Twitter. The former “Bold and the Beautiful” actress (ex-Phoebe Forrester, 2006 to 2008) played the role of Abigail Morgan and also appeared on “Guiding Light” from 2002 to 2003 as Lizzie Spaulding.

Lorenzo Lamas becomes a grandpa again, wife acts as surrogate.
Lorenzo Lamas, known to daytime fans for his role as “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” ex-Hector Ramírez (2004 to 2006), has a lot to be thankful for and proud of these days. Not only did he just become a grandfather again, his 28 year old wife Shawna Craig was his daughter’s surrogate and delivered a healthy baby boy named Lyon Lamas-Richie on July 4. Craig offered to help Lamas’ 29 year old daughter Shayne and her husband Nic Richie, by using an embryo created from the couple, after she lost her second child and was told she could no longer have children. Little Lyon joins big sister, Press Dahl. Soaps.com sends the whole family our congratulations!

Charlotte Ross places restraining order against ex-boyfriend.
Former “Days of our Lives” actress Charlotte Ross (ex-Eve Donovan, 1987 to 1991) has taken out a restraining order on her former boyfriend Patrick Eugene Aurignae. TMZ obtained the restraining order, which stated during a confrontation where Ross confronted Aurignae over alleged cheating, she grabbed his phone to read emails and he broke three of her nails and threatened to drown her dog. The actress also claimed weeks later on July 4 her ex put her in a headlock and choked her while vacationing in Maui in front of several witnesses. The temporary restraining order is to protect Ross, her son and two dogs.

Patrick Muldoon teams up with Jonathan Bennett in A Dogwalker’s Christmas Tale.
It’s Christmas news in July for two former soap stars. Patrick Muldoon, who played “Days of our Lives'” Austin Reed on and off from 1992 to 2012, will team up with former “All My Children” actor Jonathan Bennett (ex-JR Chandler, 2001 to 2002) in the upcoming December romantic comedy “A Dogwalker’s Christmas Tale.” The story surrounds a dogwalker named Luce Lockhart (Lexi Giovagnoli) who supports the development of a doggie spa and another dogwalker named Dean Stanton (Bennett) who’s opposed to it. Muldoon will appear as Byron Paxton and is currently working on various made for television movies. He’s also a singer and wants to know what fans think of his new song “Changed.”

Diana Douglas dead at 92.
Actress Diana Douglas, mother of famous actor Michael Douglas (“Ghosts of Girlfriends Past”), passed away at 92 due to cancer on Friday July 3 in Woodland Hills, California. Douglas played Mrs. Shavelson on “Loving” in 1970, Martha Evans (Marlena’s mother) on “Days of our Lives” on and off from 1977 to 1982 as well as Mrs. Brady on “Capitol” in 1982. She had numerous primetime credits on such series as “Dynasty,” “Knot’s Landing” and “Dallas.” The ex-wife of Kirk Douglas (“Spartacus”) and the late Bill Darrid, Douglas leaves behind a husband, Donald Albert Webster, two sons and a grandchild. John Stamos enters rehab.
John Stamos was arrested for DUI in June and now has pulled out of his hosting gig for the 2015 Emmy Awards nominations special, with Cat Deeley (“Deadbeat”) taking his place. People is reporting that the former “General Hospital” actor (ex-Blackie Parrish, 1982 to 1984) has checked into a rehab for substance abuse. Soaps.com wishes Stamos all of our best during this time.
