B&B, Days, GH & Y&R Stars: Where Are They Now?
Antonio Sabato Jr. prepares for Christmas early.
It may be a bit premature to begin holiday preparations, but Antonio Sabato Jr. is doing just that. The former "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "General Hospital" (ex-Dante Damiano, ex-Jagger Cates) star is working on the made for television movie "All I Want for Christmas," co-starring Shannen Doherty ("90210"). The December 2015 release surrounds a boy who makes a wish to have different parents but finds this new extravagant lifestyle comes at a cost. Sabato Jr. plays Mike Patterson alongside Doherty as Brenda Patterson.
Trevor Donovan in History Channel mini-series.
Trevor Donovan was last seen on "Days of our Lives" as Jeremy Horton in 2007 after he took off on the run following a bust for illegally flying in merchandise to Las Vegas while on the DiMera payroll. The actor is currently involved in the five part History Channel mini-series "Texas Rising." Playing Kit Acklin, the special gives viewers an inside look into how the Texas Rangers were created during the Texas Revolution against Mexico. Bill Paxton (as Sam Houston), Ray Liotta (Lorca) and Brendan Fraser (Billy Anderson) also star. The series premiered on Monday May 25 at 9:00 PM and will next air on Monday June 1 at 9:00 PM. Donovan recently took Inside Edition behind the scenes where he warned, "Everything down here has a stinger, a thorn, pinchers…"

Charles Shaughnessy stars in Moontrap: Target Earth.
Charles Shaughnessy, who played "Days of our Lives'" Shane Donovan (1984 to 2013) will star in the new sci-fi film "Moontrap: Target Earth." Playing the role of Richard Kontral, the story focuses on a discovery of a long lost ancient spacecraft and the investigations on the moon, which lead to a connection to the past. Keep an eye out for its 2015 release. Shaughnessy also appeared on "General Hospital" as Alistair Crawford in 1984 and more recently on "The Bay (ex-Captain Elliot Sanders, 2010 to 2014) and "Revenge" (ex-Charles Dawson, 2014). Fans can also catch him on stage in "Ever After," based on the 1998 Drew Barrymore film "Ever After: A Cinderella Story," at the Paper Mill Playhouse at 22 Brookside Drive in Millburn, New Jersey through June 21. Brody Hutzler gets tangled in Mega Shark vs. Kolossus.
Sometimes leaving daytime can be dangerous… Brody Hutzler appeared on "Guiding Light" as Zachary Smith (1996 to 1997), "The Young and the Restless" as Cody Dixon (1999 to 2004) and "Days of our Lives" as Patrick Lockhart (2003 to 2007). The actor has also guest-starred in numerous primetime series and will next be seen in The Asylum's "Mega Shark vs. Kolossus" as Dane. Russia sets out to look for a new energy source and ends up reawaking a huge robot device from the Cold War called the Kolossus. Following the accidental incident, a new mega shark emerges and threatens global security. The Asylum, a motion picture production, financing, and worldwide distribution studio, will release the DVD on Tuesday July 7.

Whatever happened to Denise Alexander?
Soaps.com reader fansince1981 wondered what the actress who played "General Hospital's" Lesley Webber (1973 to 2013) has been up to these days. Denise Alexander began her daytime career on "Days of our Lives" as Susan Hunter Martin from 1966 to 1972 then went on to play Mary McKinnon on "Another World" from 1986 to 1991 and Sister Beatrice on "Sunset Beach" from 1997 to 1998. In recent years, aside from recurring appearances on "GH," she's been part of the web series "Pretty the Series," playing Louise Fitzpatrick since 2010.
Jeffrey Vincent Parise creates peace on Mad Men.
Jeffrey Vincent Parise's "General Hospital" character Carlos Rivera recently met his maker on the Port Charles docks when Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) murdered him to avenge Duke's (Ian Buchanan) death. The actor appeared in a more surreal role in the series finale of AMC's "Mad Men" on May 17. If you missed it watch Parise calm his students as a yoga instructor/spiritualist named Vince below. Prior to first appearing on "GH" in 2013, he played Detective Sullivan and Detective Dom Ohanion on "Days of our Lives" (2007 to 2008).

Blake Hood guests on The Catch.
New ABC series! A rep for former "The Young and the Restless" actor Blake Hood (ex-Kyle Abbott, 2012 to 2013) has confirmed to Soaps.com that he will be guest-starring in the upcoming ABC legal thriller series "The Catch." Produced by Shonda Rhimes, the series stars Mireille Enos ("The Killing") as a fraud investigator named Alice Martin, who ends up being the victim at the hands of her fiancé. Look for its premiere during the network's 2015/2016 line-up and take a look at Hood in the promo trailer below. Since leaving daytime the actor has turned up on "Revolution," "Selfie" and "NCIS."

Diana DeGarmo slips on the ruby red slippers in The Wizard of Oz.
"American Idol's" season three runner-up Diana DeGarmo ("The Young and the Restless'" ex-Angelina Veneziano, 2011 to 2012), is heading to Emerald City. The actress has been cast as Dorothy Gale in Studio Tenn's production of "The Wizard of Oz." Based off of the 1939 film starring Judy Garland, the classic story follows Dorothy and her dog Toto as a tornado whisks them out of Kansas, dumps them in Munchkin City and takes them on a journey to Oz to meet the Great and Powerful Wizard (Matthew Carlton). Along the way, they befriend a scarecrow (Graham Keen), a tinman (Greg Maheu) and a cowardly lion (Patrick Waller) and face various hurdles, including the Wicked Witch of the West (Laura Matula) and her attempts to retrieve her dead sister's ruby slippers from Dorothy, given to her by Glenda the Good Witch of the North (Megan Murphy Chambers). The two night performances will take place on June 13 and 14 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center at One Symphony Place in Nashville, Tennessee. Visit Studio Tenn to purchase tickets today.

David Tom in Chasing Yesterday.
David Tom returned to "The Young and the Restless" for four months to play Billy Abbott, a role he also played from 1999 to 2002. Now he has joined soap alums David A. Gregory (ex-Ford, "One Life to Live"), Courtney Baxter (ex-Serena, "All My Children") and Eric Nelsen (ex-AJ, "All My Children;" ex-Kevin Ross Marler, "Guiding Light") in the September release "Chasing Yesterday." The local sweetheart of a washed up hometown hero track star convinces him to run a marathon in an attempt to get his life back. Tom plays Tobey with Gregory as Matthew, Baxter as Jenny and Nelsen as Junior. The production recently screened at the SOHO International Film Festival on May 17 in New York City, New York.

Victor Alfieri will be remembered by daytime fans for his roles on “Days of our Lives” (ex-Franco Kelly, 1995 to 2000), “Passions” (ex-Gianni Valentino, 2006), “The Bold and the Beautiful” (ex-Giovanni Lorenzano, 1999 to 2009) and “All My Children” (ex-Ciro, 2010). He has also appeared in numerous primetime roles and will turn up next on Thursday June 4 on “Bones.” In the episode titled “The Life in the Light” Alfieri will play Danato Vacaro, as Booth (David Boreanaz) continues to seek Brennan’s (Emily Deschanel) trust by fighting his gambling addiction, and the team navigates the worlds of an ex-con and a biker gang in search of a killer.
