Casting moves.

In March, the soap opera comings and goings news featured a couple of departures, some guest appearances, and some returns.

The Bold and the Beautiful:
Kim Matula, who is making a brief return as Hope, and Linsey Godfrey, who has been absent on screen as Caroline while recovering from her accident, were both back in the studio taping on March 4, which means they’ll be seen in April. Jill Whelan from “The Love Boat” appeared as Brooke’s AA group leader, Patrick Donahue played a deliveryman, Mark Marosi appeared as George, and Zach Conroy and Zane Achor popped in as Oliver and Baby Will. They will both be back in April, along with Koreen, Katherine Clark, Amanda Riley, Shiya Zhao and Tatiane Souza, who will all play Forrester models. “B&B” put out a casting call for a transgender actor or actress to appear in at least four episodes, with taping to commence April 7. Days of our Lives:
Chrishell Stause’s character, Jordan, was last seen in Salem on March 9, and Wally Kurth also departed as Justin returned to Dubai, but he will be back in May on contract. Freddie Smith returned as Sonny, Rayna Tharani began appearing as Navidad, and Paul Telfer debuted as Xander. “Days” put out casting calls for Lani, a stunning African-American female character in the late 20s – early 30s age range, Joey, a teen Caucasian male who is also incredible-looking, and Elijah, a gorgeous African-American male who is a high-functioning Autistic. Patsy Pease is due on screen in April as Kimberly, Spencer Neville will be back as Derrick, and news broke that Stephen Nichols and Peter Reckell will reprise their roles down the road.
