"I think of it as a 13-year commercial break," said Creator/Executive Producer Chris Carter. "The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories."
"We had the privilege of working with Chris on all nine seasons of 'The X-Files' – one of the most rewarding creative experiences of our careers – and we couldn't be more excited to explore that incredible world with him again," remarked FOX's Dana Walden and Gary Newman. "'The X-Files' was not only a seminal show for both the studio and the network, it was a worldwide phenomenon that shaped pop culture – yet remained a true gem for the legions of fans who embraced it from the beginning. Few shows on television have drawn such dedicated fans as 'The X-Files', and we're ecstatic to give them the next thrilling chapter of Mulder and Scully they've been waiting for."

Interview! What happens when four different people share a Queens townhouse together? Soaps.com sat in a conference call with series co-stars Becki Newton (Caryn Goldfarb) and Zachary Knighton (Stosh Lewandoski). When asked what sets "Weird Loners" apart from other 30-something singles Knighton stated, "You know, I would say that in a weird way these people are just not very likable. I mean they're kind of pathetic in their own ways, and you know, I think that's something funny to explore in television. You know, I don't know if you're really rooting for these guys or not. I mean I've only seen a couple of episodes myself and you know, to me it's funny to not really root for a character. So that's kind of where I sit with it, in terms of what makes it kind of different." Newton added, "Yes, I think you watch it and you're cringing while you watch it. Maybe in the past, characters on TV were more aspirational [ph], you watched it and hoped you could be like them or looked like them, or act like them. In this case, you absolutely do not want to be like any of these people but it might be fun to watch them because you sort of can’t believe their behavior." Tune in for the FOX comedy series on Tuesdays at 9:30 PM.

Interview! The FOX series returns with new episodes beginning on Thursday March 26 at 8:00 PM. Soaps.com sat in on a conference call with show star Emily Deschanel (Bones) and Executive Producer Stephen Nathan. When asked what upcoming storyline has been their favorite to work on Nathan spoke for both of them. “You know it’s always hard for me to pick favorites, but I think the storyline that is kind of the most emotionally rich for us is Booth’s relapse into gambling and how it affects Brennan, the family and it just has the ripples go out from that and cause a lot of changes not only for Brennan and Booth, but for the other characters as well. But there are so many really, there’s great stuff between Cam and Arastoo, Arastoo going off to Iran and their relationship being in jeopardy and his life being in jeopardy. It’s hard to pick favorites. And, of course, there’s always all of the revolting bodies that delight us.” Watch the promo below for what’s ahead tonight.
