Soap Opera Actors: Where Are They Now?
Robert Bogue and Mandy Bruno team up in Price for Freedom.
Married couple Robert Bogue and Mandy Bruno, who played "Guiding Light's" AC Mallet and Marina Cooper Mallet, are co-starring in the May release "The Price of Freedom." Robert will play former President Ronald Reagan with Mandy as Mesha in the movie based on the true story surrounding the 1979 Islamic Revolution and the conflict between former President Reagan and advisors to President Jimmy Carter in regards to freeing fifty-two American hostages in Tehran. Bogue and Bruno married in March 2011 and share one child together.
Daniel von Bargen passes away at 64.
Daniel von Bargen was known to many as George Costanza's (Jason Alexander) boss Mr. Kruger on "Seinfeld" during the late 1990s. Sadly, the actor passed away on Sunday March 1 after a long illness. In recent years, he turned up in numerous primetime series and played Cooper/Commander Billings/Lambrusco on "Law & Order" on and off from 1991 through 2004. von Bargen also had ties to daytime television, having appeared in the soap operas "All My Children" as Lieutenant Cody (1994 - 1995) and "Guiding Light" as Joe Morrison (1993). In 2012, the actor attempted suicide as a result of depression due to complications from diabetes. Soaps.com sends his family and friends our deepest condolences.

Jason George and Trevor St. John guest on CSI: Cyber.
"Sunset Beach" fans will remember Jason George for his role as Michael Bourne from 1997 to 1999. The actor has had a successful career in primetime, including his current gig on ABC's "Grey Anatomy" as Dr. Ben Warren. On Wednesday March 11 George will guest star on CBS's "CSI: Cyber" in the episode titled "CMND:Crash," as the team investigates a roller coaster crash after its internal computer is hacked. Tune in at 10:00 PM, as "Dawson's Creek" alum James Van Der Beek ("As the World Turns'" ex-Stephen Anderson) and Patricia Arquette ("Medium") star with McKenna Grace ("The Young and the Restless" ex-Faith) appearing as well.
Then on Wednesday March 18 at 10:00 PM "One Life to Live" alum Trevor St. John (ex-Victor Lord/Todd Manning) will appear as Derrick Wilson in the episode titled "Killer En Route." Look for the team to investigate the hacking of a car service company's software in order to target certain passengers.
Reiko Aylesworth to guest on Castle.
Fans will remember Reiko Aylesworth's Rebecca Lewis, Todd Manning's (Roger Howarth, "General Hospital's" Franco) first love, on "One Life to Live" from 1993 to 1994. The actress is heading back to primetime to join her former Llanview co-star Nathan Fillion (ex-Joey Buchanan) in episode eighteen of ABC's "Castle" titled "At Close Range." Tune in on Monday March 23 at 10:00 PM, as Aylesworth appears as Mia Lopez, the wife of a congressman. Throughout the years she's turned up in numerous primetime roles and most recently was seen playing Marion Kelly on "Revolution."

Have you heard? Kevin Spirtas ("Days'" ex-Craig Wesley) and John-Paul Lavoisier ("One Life to Live's" ex-Rex Balsom) are the latest soap stars to join Winterthorne, an online soap.

Jill Larson returns to the big screen in Forever.
Last year “All My Children” alum Jill Larson (ex-Opal Cortlandt, 1989 to 2013) starred in the horror flick “The Taking of Deborah Logan.” The actress will turn up next in the 2015 film “Forever.” Larson will play Rachel, as the story follows an investigative reporter named Alice (Deborah Ann Woll, “Daredevil,” “True Blood”) who suffers a tremendous loss but finds the strength and to move on and love again. Keep an eye out for the film’s release date.
Cameron Mathison hosts and stars in new web series.
The W Network will be the platform for a new web series hosted by and starring Cameron Mathison (“All My Children’s” ex-Ryan Lavery). Cameron’s House Rules will premiere online on Tuesday March 17 and give fans a backstage pass into the former soap actor’s Los Angeles home renovations. Also look for Mathison to guest host on W’s “Game of Homes” on the same date, which was the inspiration for him to open up his home renovations for all to see. Mathison has had roles in numerous Hallmark Channel movies over the last few years and most recently appeared on “The Exes” as Rob. Watch a promo for both of Mathison’s W Network shows below.
Billy Magnussen to The Good Wife.
Billy Magnussen, who played Casey Hughes on “As the World Turns” from 2008 to 2010, will be guest-starring in CBS’ “The Good Wife.” In the episode titled “False Feed,” Alicia (series star Julianna Margulies) is faced with a decision regarding Peter, and Kurt McVeigh is called in to testify in a case surrounding a man paralyzed by a malfunctioning gun. Tune in Sunday March 15 at 9:00 PM to see Magnussen in the role of Chris Fife.
