Soap Opera Actors: Where Are They Now?
Nathan Fillion to make a Big Bang cameo.
"Castle" star and former daytime alum Nathan Fillion ("One Life to Live's" ex-Joey Buchanan, on and off from 1995 to 2007) will make a cameo appearance as himself on CBS' "The Big Bang Theory." Look for him to turn up in the Thursday February 19 8:00 PM episode titled "The Comic Book Store Regeneration," where Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) believe they've spotted 'actor Nathan Fillion' at a restaurant. As always, you can catch the actor on ABC Mondays at 10:00 PM as "Castle's" Richard Castle, a character he's played since the series premiere in 2009.
Lea DeLaria engaged.
Whenever Madame Delphina blew into Llanview "One Life to Live" fans were always treated to the humor Lea DeLaria put into her character. The actress is currently a big star of Netflix's "Orange is the new Black," where she's played Big Boo since 2013, and has just become engaged. The news surrounding DeLaria and girlfriend Chelsea Fairless (fashion editor) was announced on Thursday February 5 and had been kept from the public since Fairless accepted DeLaria's proposal back in January. A wedding date has yet to be made but the former soap actress shared with the press that Sandra Bernhard ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine") will officiate the ceremony with Jesse Tyler Ferguson ("Modern Family") as DeLaria's best man. Bree Williamson in A Portrait of Love.
Bree Williamson has turned up in roles on "Haven," "Deception" and "True Detective" since leaving her "One Life to Live" role as Jessica Buchanan (2003 to 2012). Fans of the actress will soon get to see her starring in the upcoming Hallmark Channel movie "A Portrait of Love." The story surrounds a famous fashion photographer named April Littleton (Williamson) who returns to her hometown and reconnects with her high school sweetheart (Jason Dohring, "Ringer," "The Tomorrow People"). As they pair up in the town's centennial art competition, their romance is rekindled. Corbin Bernsen ("Y&R's" ex-Father Todd) and Frances Fisher ("Resurrection" "Days'" ex-Gladys Pierce, "Guiding Light's" ex-Suzette Saxon) also star. Tune in Saturday March 14 at 9:00 PM.

Corbin Bleu and Nic Robuck in Megachurch Murder.
Former "One Life to Live" actor Nic Robuck (ex-James Ford, 2010 to 2012) has made his way back to Lifetime in the network's movie "Megachurch Murder." Also starring Llanview reboot actor Corbin Bleu (ex-Jeffrey King), the story follows the apparent suicide of a captivating megachurch leader named Hamilton Spears (Malcolm-Jamal Warner, "The Cosby Show") and the daughter, Hannah (Shanica Knowles, Beyoncé's cousin), who fights to prove her father didn't kill himself. His death lands in the center of a big conspiracy, one Hannah's mother (Tamala Jones, "Castle") could be involved in. Look for Bleu to play Marcus King with Robuck as Bobby Stantz. Tune in Saturday February 14 at 4:00 PM for a replay of the February 7 premiere.
Alec Baldwin to release memoir.
Veteran Emmy Award winning actor and former soap star Alec Baldwin ("The Doctors" ex-Billy Allison Aldrich, 1980 to 1982) is working on his memoir titled "Nevertheless." Set to be released by HarperCollins in the fall of 2016, the actor will open up about the highs and lows of his career, which started in daytime, and personal life, including his addiction. Baldwin will also reveal details surrounding past marriage/divorce to Kim Basinger ("Grudge Match") and current wife Hilaria Thomas (yoga instructor). Back in 2008 the actor released the book "A Promise to Ourselves" that gave readers guidance based on his own experience as a father and divorcee with the hopes of preventing others from enduring what he did.

Legendary film actor Morgan Freeman is no stranger to daytime and had roles as Dr. Roy Bingham on “Another World,” as Detective Michaels on “Texas” and as Cicero Murphy on “Ryan’s Hope.” To add to his movie credits Freeman will take part in the Mark Wahlberg (“Wahlburgers”) sequel “Ted 2” as a high-profile civil rights lawyer who will help the vulgar teddy bear Ted (Seth MacFarlane) with some legal issues. Amanda Seyfried (“As the World Turns'” ex-Lucinda Montgomery, “All My Children’s” ex-Joni Stafford) will also star. Production took place in Boston with a release date set for June 26. Tamara Tunie and Gregory Generet call it quits.
TMZ is reporting that “As the World Turns” alum Tamara Tunie (ex-Jessica Griffin, 1987 to 2009) and jazz musician Gregory Generet have decided to amicably end their twenty-three year marriage. The couple married on October 21, 1995 and do not share any children together. Tunie spent twenty-plus years on the CBS Oakdale soap opera then went on to play Judge Weston on NBC’s “Days of our Lives” in 2011. She’s made a name for herself in primetime over the years and currently plays Dr. Melinda Warner on “Law & Order: SVU,” a role she’s held since 2000.
