The American Gothic soap opera “Dark Shadows,” which aired on ABC from June 27, 1966 to April 2, 1971, will be returning to television to the Decades channel. Beginning on Wednesday May 13 at 6:00 PM fans will get to watch sixty-eight hours of old episodes all the way through Saturday May 16 at 2:00 PM. The memorable storylines and plot twists of the past will begin with episode 210 when viewers first met vampire Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid).

The retro over-the-air digital channel is co-owned by Weigel Broadcasting (MeTV) and CBS and will feature a library of numerous television series from the 1950s through 1980s. The channel made a quiet reveal this month and is available through sixteen CBS affiliates and will officially launch on May 25.
