Coming up in Primetime Television.

There’s a lot set to happen in Primetime television during the week of March 25. This week’s Primetime Dish column highlights episode teasers, casting, a “Dallas” star returns, an actress lands a new role after walking away from another, a HBO season premiere, and some insight from Julia Stiles about her web series, as well as a few scoops for the weeks to come…

Advocates:
Mandy Moore (“TRON: Uprising”) may have just walked away from her ABC “Pulling” role, but the actress/singer has already landed another gig. Moore will play ADA Shannon in the pilot that follows what happens when a lawyer (Moore) and an ex-con team up to fight for the underdog and right some wrongs along the way. Ben McKenzie (“Southland,” “The O.C.”) will star opposite Moore as the ex-con.

American Horror Story:
Each season the FX series is given a sub-title. Season one brought viewers “Murder House,” season two “Asylum,” and now season three will have fans watching as “Coven” plays out. The series will return in the fall 2013 line-up.

Arrow:
In the CW’s Wednesday March 27 8:00 PM episode titled “Salvation” an angry resident of The Glades sets out on a kidnapping and killing spree and broadcasts the murders online. Oliver vows to stop ‘The Savior’ and finds out that Roy has been kidnapped. Laurel is stunned that her father starts to believe that Sara is still alive, and Malcolm orders Moira to find the person who wanted to kill him.

Beauty And The Beast:

Gabe is suspicious, and Evan changes his opinion of Cat, which makes him more determined to track down the beast.

Blue:
Interview! Soaps.com sat in on a conference call with Julia Stiles, who plays Blue on the web series. When asked about the filming differences between the web series and film/television series Stiles shared, “Well, I think that the way that viewers watch them is different but day to day I felt like I was on a set of a TV show. The turnaround is faster so whereas in movies and with television shows the amount of time it takes to get something developed and financed and the setup and shot and out in theatres or on TV is so long. I mean it can be years, and the exciting thing about what we’re doing with WIGS is that we can accomplish so much more so quickly… we shot Blue in November and December and it’s already being aired.” Watch Julia Stiles in Blue on WIGS, the #1 channel for scripted drama on YouTube.

Cougar Town:
In TBS’ Tuesday March 26 10:00 PM episode titled “This Old Town” an elderly couple buys Grayson’s old house under the impression that Jules will spend time with them. While hanging out with the couple, Ellie, Jules and Grayson discover the perks to being old. Bobby renames his boat when another one of his get-rich-quick schemes don’t pan out, and Travis wants to win a high-stakes penny can game and searches for the perfect partner to make it happen.
