Interviews: Soap Stars Christmas Plans!
Along with all the preparations for the holidays, many of us by now have wrapped up our travel plans and are just awaiting the coming days to celebrate with family and friends! A few of our favorite soap stars stopped by Soaps.com to share their plans with our writers and to give us a peek into what their holiday festivities will entail!
The Bold and the Beautiful newcomer Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) told Lori Wilson that she’ll be going back to Canada and may head to Florida for a little bit! “It’s all about relaxation, hanging out with my family and friends, sleeping in and doing nothing,” Jacqueline said. “I don’t really have that much planned, but it’s all about relaxation.”
Matt Purvis chatted with Guiding Light’s Beth Chamberlin (Elizabeth Raines Bauer) who talked about her favorite holiday music! “I love Christmas music. My favorite song is probably “Santa Baby” by Eartha Kitt, but I love jazz as well… so any albums by the jazz greats are fantastic.” When asked about her Christmas plans, Beth told Matt, “We spend New Year’s Eve with the friends who introduced my husband and me. It is a 6-8-course dinner party and we alternate who will host it. This year is their year so we’ll be in Vermont at their home. We take the entire year to plan it out and test every course, so it is really something. Yummm!”
The Young and the Restless actress Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) told Candace Young about her plans as well! “I have a five year old and two step-children who are 13 and 15… for the five year-old this year’s bigger than ever,” Eileen boasted. “We have Christmas Eve, so we’ll have between 20 to 35 people over!”
