There is a lot set to take place in Primetime television during the week of October 22, as well as a few scoops for before and after. This week’s Primetime Dish column highlights episode teasers, casting scoops, a record setting most-watched series, renewals, how Christmas will come early on ABC, and which real-life husband and wife team will star opposite each other in a new NBC series…

A baby-to-be shower is thrown for Silver in the October 22 8:00 PM episode titled “It’s All Fun And Games.” Monday Episode Teasers: Silver worries about her future attractiveness and has yet to schedule her insemination appointment. After Naomi poses as a wealthy investor, Alec spontaneously kisses her as a form of blackmail. Riley insists that Dixon needs to change his attitude. Liam realizes his video game contract can’t be finalized and worries when a detective appears to question him about Vanessa.

The CW reported that the series was the most watched telecast since “The Vampire Diaries” during its premiere with 4.02 million viewers. Now for what’s to come… someone sets their sights on Arrow in the CW October 24 8:00 PM episode titled “Lone Gunmen.” Wednesday Episode Teasers: One of Oliver’s targets are shot and killed. Deadshot takes out businessmen who are scheduled to bid at an auction. Detective Lance asks for help, as Laurel and Tommy are caught in an awkward situation with Oliver.

Bates Motel:
Richard Harmon (“Continuum”) has been cast in a recurring role in the upcoming A&E series as Richard Slymore – a student at the high school Norman Bates enrolls at. Look for the premiere sometime in 2013.

Beauty And The Beast:
In Thursday’s October 25 9:00 PM CW episode titled “All In” Iris is arrested, and Vincent insists that she’s innocent, and Cat discovers that Iris is hiding a family secret.

Boardwalk Empire:
In HBO’s Sunday October 28 9:00 PM episode titled “Sunday Best” Eli looks to get back in Nucky’s good graces on Easter Sunday at a Thompson family reunion. Gillian makes a sacrifice to improve her future, and after dinner Gyp goes in search of a blessing from Joe Masseria.

Bob’s Burgers:
Renewed! FOX plans to bring fans twenty-two more episodes during its season four renewal. Tune in Sunday October 21 at 7:00 PM for a special episode titled “Bob Fires The Kids.”

Already looking forward to Christmas-themed episodes? Come December 3, the ABC series will treat fans to its first! Until then tune in Mondays at 10:00 PM.

James Read (“Castle,” “Charmed”) has been cast to play Lindsay’s (Anna Belknap) father, Robert Monroe. Look for his first appearance in mid-November during season nine’s eighth episode. Tune in to CBS Fridays at 9:00 PM.

Ted Shackelford (Jeffrey, “Y&R”) and Joan Van Ark (ex-Gloria, “Y&R”) will be returning to the series as Gary and Valene Ewing for a three-episode arc. Emily Owens, M.D:
There are chances worth taking in the October 23 9:00 PM CW episode titled “Emily And . . . The Alan Zolman Incident.” Tuesday Episode Teasers: One nurse gives Emily a real eye opener regarding her bad reputation with some of the nurses. Emily tries to avoid awkwardness with Will by telling him she already has another crush, and Micah finds a surprise regarding his mother during her chemotherapy.

HBO’s series will return on Sunday January 13, 2013 at 9:30 PM with a ten episode new season.

Family Guy:
To celebrate the series’ 200th episode FOX will air a one-hour event to include the milestone episode titled “Yug Ylimaf,” as well as a tribute to the Emmy award winning series. Tune in Sunday November 11 at 9:00 PM.
