“Bold and the Beautiful” star Phyllis Diller dies at 95:
“The New York Times” is reporting that sassy comedian Phyllis Diller died August 20, in her Brentwood home in Los Angeles. Diller, who often mocked her strange looks, was a 37-year-old homemaker when she took up comedy, had a methodical approach to her jokes, gearing them towards “everyone of all ages and from different backgrounds, and I wanted to hit them right in the middle,” she said in her 2005 autobiography “Like a Lampshade in a Whorehouse: My Life in Comedy.” Diller made a number of television and film appearances, such as “The Ed Sullivan Show,” “Boy Did I Get The Wrong Number,” and a number of guest appearances, including “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

“Real World: Hollywood” star Joey Kovar found dead at 29:
TMZ reported that reality TV star Joey Kovar was found dead at a friend’s home in Chicago on August 17. Friends and family suspect drugs to be the cause of death, and sources are reporting that Kovar was found with blood coming out of his ears and nose. Kovar, who had a stint on the MTV series “The Real World: Hollywood,” left midway through the show to enter rehab, as he often came close to death a number of times, with his constant abuse alcohol, ecstasy, cocaine, and meth. According to the Chicago Tribune, an autopsy has been performed, but remains inconclusive, and toxicology reports are pending. A day before his death, Kovar tweeted inspirational words of advice:

For Prince Harry, what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas!
Prince Harry was caught cavorting in a Las Vegas suite in the nude, as TMZ confirmed on Wednesday. The famous prince was seen running around his hotel suit in the buff during a friendly game of strip poker. Though the game is said to be harmless, his father, Prince Charles, could reprimand Harry. If anything, the photos could help Harry’s image, as he has been caught in numerous activities far worse than this. “Nobody goes to Vegas for a holiday – they go there to have a good time. And he sure knows how to have a good time. I think that’s what people love about Harry,” royal biographer Ingrid Seward told “People.” “He should be able to enjoy himself,” said Gordon Fleming, a retired civil engineer. “If I was a young man, I would be doing it too.”
