Soap Scoop: UK/Australia Edition
As the British soap celebrates its 40th anniversary in October of this year, series producer Stuart Blackburn has promised two births and an unusual wedding to mark the milestone. Apparently one birth involves Debbie's baby, while the other involves a woman who doesn't know she's pregnant yet. Let the speculating begin!
Spoiler alert: An attraction forms between Tilly and newbie Jen, who turns out to be a teacher, not a fellow college student as first assumed. Upon the reveal, Tilly tries to avoid her by hiding in a closet. It's as good a place as any, but unfortunately, she gets trapped just as a fire starts. Will she make it out unscathed and what does George have to do with it?
After Maddie and Callum sleep together for the first time, he gets up and leaves. Not exactly gentlemanly behavior, but he could have a good reason for ducking out on her. We're not sure what that could be, but it is possible.
Home and Away:
Spoiler Alert: Things don't look good for Romeo and Indi's marriage as she continues to want the 9 to 5 life for her man, but he knows a suit and tie aren't exactly proper surfing attire. His dress code and ocean as an office isn't the only problem though, as the marrieds each find themselves doubting the other's fidelity.
Now that Heath knows he's the father of Bianca's baby, he sets out to woo his ex back. Wonder what her husband Liam will have to say about that.
Spoiler alert: Paul tries to get Ajay on his side when he learns the politician is running for re-election. Ajay turns down his proposal, however, which might be a bad campaign strategy as he makes an enemy of Paul in the process.
When Summer starts her new job at Erinsborough News, Andrew wastes no time asking for a favor. He could have at least waited until her second day of work before imposing, but will she jeopardize her new job for her boyfriend?
Australian fans have already witnessed it, but the UK won't be treated to the soap's first male gay kiss until May. While Aidan and Chris have been dating for weeks, the two don't get intimate until they attend a party and smooch, as couples do. With that out of the way, what's next for the boys?
