Holiday pre-emptions…

The Thanksgiving holiday always brings soap opera pre-emptions, and Soaps.com has this year’s details for Thursday November 24 and Friday November 25.

On Thursday November 24:

ABC’s “General Hospital” and “One Life To Live” will air encore episodes. Look for a repeat of “GH’s” “Jason and Sam’s Chinese Restaurant Wedding.” “OLTL” will air a repeat of the September 2, 2011 episode where Viki informs Todd that the cops are looking for him, due to Victor’s murder.

CBS’ “The Bold And The Beautiful” and “The Young And The Restless” will be pre-empted. “Y&R” will air an encore of its December 31, 2009 “Billy’s New Year’s Eve” episode at 12.30 PM eastern. However, the show will be pre-empted on the West Coast due to the Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys NFL football game.

NBC’s “Days of our Lives” will be pre-empted due to the “The National Dog Show.”

On Friday November 25:

ABC’s “General Hospital” and “One Life To Live” will not be seen due to a network pre-emption.

CBS’ “The Bold And The Beautiful” and “The Young And The Restless” will be pre-empted. “Y&R” will air an encore of its December 23, 2010 “Victor’s Christmas Carol” episode at 12.30 PM eastern. The show won’t air on the West Coast until 3.00 PM due to NCAA Football: Home Depot SEC coverage.

NBC’s “Days of our Lives” will be pre-empted due to NHL Hockey. The Boston Bruins vs. Detroit Red Wings.

New episodes of all soap operas will resume on Monday November 28.
