There will be numerous daytime soap stars presenting at this year’s 35th Annual Daytime Creative Arts and Entertainment Awards including All My Children’s David Canary (Adam/Stuart Chandler) and Brianne Moncreif (Colby Chandler), As the World Turns’ Ellen Dolan (Margo Montgomery Hughes) and Colleen Zenk Pinter (Barbara Ryan), Guiding Light’s Murray Bartlett (Cyrus Foley) and Bonnie Dennison (Daisy LeMay), One Life to Live’s Robin Strasser (Dorian Lord) and Brittany Underwood (Langston Wilde), and The Young and the Restless’ Kate Linder (Esther Valentine)! Best of luck to you all during this year’s Emmy season!

The sun is shining and the weather is looking up as we wish the winter months farewell. Every soap fan knows that with spring comes Emmy news – and lots of it!

Although last year’s 34th Annual Daytime Creative Arts and Entertainment Awards ceremony took place on June 14, 2007 in Hollywood, California, this year’s event will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at the Rose Hall At Jazz At Lincoln Center in New York City, New York.

The Daytime Creative Arts and Entertainment Awards honor those involved in the technical aspects of the shows and/or their programming to include casting and art directors, sound editors, costume designers and cinematographers – as well as recognizing those in the Lifetime Achievement category – last year’s recipients were James Lipton, Lee Phillip Bell and the late William J. Bell.
