Passions’ Erin Cardillo Lands a new Role
Moving on is never easy to do, especially in the world of soap opera actors. Passions Erin Cardillo (Esme Vanderheusen), however, already has her feet firmly planted on a post-soap opera future. The actress has landed another recurring role, this time for the Disney Channel. She will be taking on the part of Miss Emma Tutweiller for the upcoming season of The Suite Life On Deck. Episodes have already begun filming and viewers can expect to see her in this exciting new part by the fall. Soaps.com wishes her all the best on this new opportunity! We’re sure that she will make the most of it and create yet another vivid character.
The Suite Life On Deck is a spin-off the successful series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Brenda Song, the Sprouse Twins, Kim Rhodes and Phill Lewis are all expected to return to roles they held on the original series. The show follows the adventures of the two brothers and their friend as they attend school on a luxury cruise ship and get into various forms of mischief.
Cardillo became a permanent resident of Harmony when she joined the cast of Passions for its move to Direct TV in September, 2007. Previous to that, her character had a series of popular recurring appearances. In addition to her work on the soap, Cardillo has appeared in ten feature films and widely on stage. She is also an accomplished writer, having authored and produced the short film The Murder of Donovan Slain and the play Mercy Park.
